I have a friend who I met from work who I have hung out with a few times etc. We text and talk, but I now work 2 jobs. I wake up super early and don't have much time to go out. I told her I couldn't go to a party because of work the next day, but she said she would be mad if I didn't go, so I forced myself to go. I made it to work late this morning and I don't think i it was worth it. I'm mad that I went back on what I wanted to do and just gave into her demands. I feel that a friend would understand and not make me do anything. I have a bad feeling about his relationship. What do you think? I'd like feedback please! Thanks!

sometimes people do things that are in their best interest, and they don't think about other people..

i don't think she purposely meant for you to be late to work, she probably just wanted to have a good time at the party with you

it's hard to find a true friend, so just don't be upset about the way she treated you because a lot of people are like that

If she was truly a friend, she would respect the fact that you are working two jobs and that is very important to you. She would not have gotten mad. It is one thing to be disappointed if someone cant do something with you, but to get mad that you didn't want to go out, because you had to work the next day? That is just ridicilious. You should re evaluate your friendship.

ok lets be honest it seem like your a grown woman and in my opinion no one can make a grown woman do something she does not want to do. anyways, you should talk to her be real with her let her know how u feel "DONT HOLD NOTHING BACK!!" If she understands and apologizes than she is worth keeping as a friend but if she gets mad then she wasnt a friend in the first place. friends should be able to communicate with each other and tell each other how one another feels. i hope my advice helps!!!

Nobody should force you to do something that you now is not in your best interest. I think that next time say no stick to your guns and if she says shes gong to be mad tell her to bad. If she was a real friend she would understand.

I think you should let her know about how you felt when you had to go to the party. Let her know that you don't want to get in trouble at work too. If she sees what you mean, and apologizes, stay friends. But if she doesn't care, and tries to make you do it again, dump her.

I don't think she is!!!!!All of my real friends would understand. If she doesn't stop making you do things then don't be her friend anymore. Just ignore her.
