I have known this guy since i was 12 years old and he asked me out last week and everyone my age finds it weird that I'm dating an 18 year old. Is it weird?

It all depends on how you look at it. As a sixteen year old dating an 18-year old it's not odd to me at all, but I'll tell you this: there might be a motive to why he likes you. I'm hoping its because he see you for the beautiful person that you are, but we all know the world isn't innocent. I have been with this guy for almost two years, I can tell you.... there was a motive behind his reason. (i think you know what I mean) He hasn't reached his goal and that's the good thing. Make sure you know who you are and what you stand for.

Not so weir if both love each other well. People say love is blind, chooses no ages old or young... no age gap as long as they are kind and understanding to each one. In your case, at least this guy not to be childish, not emmature but matured enough to lead you in your life.

Forget what everyone else said it's okay, you like who you like.If you feel that your doing something wrong then don't do it. If you feel that it's okay then go for it. I am 17 and my bf is 23 i'm comfortable with it and so is he.
