How do U deal with people that have that annoying habit of saying "huh?" when talking to them?

Do you repeat what you've just said or keep talking? What do U do??

I have a family member that repeatedly does this. Drives me nuts. And the thing is, he heard me the first time. So when he says, "Huh?" I reply, "You heard me" and sure enough he did and answers the question. Works every time. (The other annoying habit is using the word "like" 5 times in every sentence..."so she was, like, mad and, like, decided to, like, leave, and then, like...". That habit I'm still trying to break him of.

Because i tend to say huh alot here is what you do! Restate what you just said in a different way that is less complicated to understand! I just don't understand what people are saying sometimes! Don't talk super slow though that is just annoying!

I'm one of those people who say huh or what a lot. I noticed that. But it seems like most people don't speak up!! Or their heads are turned away from you and THEN say something to you. Or they just plain mumble or are too quiet.

How about you try to avoid those things so people will stop saying huh.
