Friends - November 2006

i am a singaporean and english is my first language although when i go out with friends they talk in chinese...and i find it difficult to express myself in this language although i dont totally sucked in it...therefore they have an impression im quiet and sometimes i feel left out...anyone has this experience before and solutions to overcome it??

i never really had alot of friends because in the end i have been screwed over by them,,,i give WAY too much. My last ²friend²lived with me for free for about...5 months and i even gave her spending money for our trip we took....her sister and I used to be freinds but since i decided to start looking out for myself and not other people..she got offended ,said some MEAN things you dont say to people and i just never spoke to her again..but the other friend that lived with me..i just moved far away and slowly cut her off.....i lost a few other friends aswell because they did not like her....
but i decided to take time away from everyone and i let her have my apartment for a month while i was awa...and when i got back my scanner was missing and one of her friends that was over told me they partied and she"had sex on my couch" and laughed like it was funny...then a bottle of wine i had for 5 to 6 years which cost alot of money was drank....

Muslims dont like their women to have male friends i guess..she told me we can still be friends behind his back. I told her that i was not comfortable with doing that. Am i right by saying that we shouldnt do things outside of the workplace anymore? She is giving me alot of grief over her choice to marry this man when it wasnt my choice for her to do that.

Many latin women have sexy and shapely butts and it seems to be in there culture quite a bit. They seem to like to show them off.

It also seems that pinching and slapping of buttocks is a bigger thing in there culture. I've even seen slapping/pinching between friends and even family members (Parents/yonger ones/etc.) Am I right?

well i really like this guy hes a sophmore im a junior. we like spending time with each other. we do community service together and after we do our time we stay on campus at an intermediate school to just hang out and talk. we play like little kids, so innocent and cute. even when we dont do community service we agree to meet at that school to just spend time. lately weve been talking on the phone for long hours. we just seem to have so much fun with each other. i have a feeling he likes me or he wouldnt ask me if i want to hang out or wouldnt even bother to call me.SO MY ? I just started going to church with my grandma on Sundays two weeks ago. The first week I went, I was sitting in the pew and looked over and saw my english teacher. I about died. She is not one of my favorite teachers but shes not evil or anything. I hoped she wouldn't see me but after church she came over and talked to me. She said "You lucky girl! You get to see me six days this week!" Then she gave me a hug. I was thinking O yeah, lucky me! And what with the hugs? She doesn't do that at school! Anyway the second week I pretended like I didn't see her and did't tallk to her. The last thing I want to do is see my teacher on the weekend. I know I am going to have to get used to her being there but how should I act. Should I pretend I don't see her every week or do I go and tell her hi. I don't want to be rude but I don't really want to just go up and give her a hug every week. What do I do? This is REALLY awkward.
