One of my good friends bumped me down on her friends list pretty far down but yet nothing is wrong... I was number 1 on her list. The thing is ... I wouldn't care but, I had been doing a lot of researching for her and doing things for her and being there for her most of the time. So, should I be mad because I got bumped after helping her all this time?

Ok, so my brother is dating this girl, and at first no-one liked her but I felt bad for her and didn't want her to feel like she wasn't accepted. So I was really nice to her and got my whole family to like her. Then she started backstabbing me, spreading HORRIBLE rumors about me to a LOT of people we both know and then badmouthed me to my family. If only she had stopped there, then she started badmouthing my boyfriend and his family and making completely false accusations. I've tried to talk to her about it and she's being extremely immature and denying everything-even though I've overheard her talking about me a LOT! What do I do???

hi everyone. well i just want to know how do you know when your in love?
you see ive liked my best friend for a while now and everytime i am with him something sparks on the inside. when i think about i start smiling, when he looks into my eyes i cant help but feel bad when i blink because i feel like when i blink thirty minutes of my time with him has passed. when i hear his voice from across the classroom i get soo nervous. when he stares at me or trys to get my attention, i try to keep my cool but my heart keeps pounding. when we are together all i wanna do is talk to him and not stop. and then when i see him with other girls i get mad and jealous. and i feel like pulling him away from them. and when he hugs me i feel like i am in the arms of a God. i know this my best friend but i cant help it. is it just lust? or love? help please.

I just feel like no one really wants to listen to my problems or cares about them so I don't talk to anyone about them. I can't trust anyone anymore anyway. With having no true friends and no one to talk to about my problems I just feel like I'm keeping everything inside of me and I know that isn't the right thing to do. Is there something I'm doing wrong that I don't have any true friends or something?

I love and adore my best friend. She is a beautiful person and is amazing at everything she does. We both sing and write. We are both top notch in those fields. But she is always better. I'm not seeking to finally be better, but it gets very disheartening when I'm constantly compared to her and I fall short. I'm just very tired of people not seeing how different we are. I'm also tired of being called the mini-verson of her. What do I do without seeming pretentious or losing her/myself in the process?

Is it better to choose your friends based on the way they make you feel? Or is it smarter to pick friends based on what they can do for you? How should you go about making these friends? A family member sometimes makes me feel like I am not smart, because I don't choose friends based on what they can do for me. Sometimes it happens that my friends can do something for me, but I make friends with people based on how I feel about them. Today, it was made clear to me that I've been doing it wrong all my life. I wondered how prevalent this belief is that you make friends with only people who can do things for you.
