that person is still talking to me but when we im and i try to talk to that person she goes offline ( it happened 3 times in a row )

I take it this person has not physically hurt you or anything like that, because if they did, then it's pretty clear. I take it they are doing passive aggressive things like, give brief replies when you say something to them, or make eye contact only briefly, maybe even make rude comments at your expense. In this case simply ask "are you mad at me for some reason? And if so what? If not, why have you been acting so ___fill in the blank____-
They'll either say no or yes. If they say 'yes', they probably mean it, but if they say 'no', it's more about how they said it.
So you ask an additional, something like "The way you've been acting, and even the way you replied indicates you are. If you don't tell me what's really going on, how can I fix the problem? If you're angry you should be man/woman enough to say so and why."
Not everyone can articulate their thoughts and feelings as easily as others, so a whole host of problems may be going on with this person that may or may not have anything to do with you.

When I get mad my tone of voice tends to be snappish.

they act differently than they did before, be it talking less, or avoiding you, or making rude comments, etc etc.
