I'm in 8th grade and in a new school and I've noticed some things among my old friends through MySpace...
they're all "going emo".
It seems like they think they're emo because they have side bangs and black & white pictures. They're not in it for the music, they're in it for the trend. I see so many of the people that used to make me so happy now frowning in every picture, painting their nails black, and hiding behind their hair. I am labelled emo at my new school, and it's a totally different thing over here... but I can't manage to get out of my head the thoughts of my friends that are doing this bull. What should I do? Speak my mind to them? Or just keep quiet about it?

a good friend of mine died at age 19 in a car accident over a year ago. When I heard about it i didnt cry and even when I saw his brother (another good friend of mine) i didnt cry. I only cried at his funeral when I saw all my friends crying. But now, a year later, its like every time I see a picture of him or think of him or see his brother or hear the song they played at his funeral I get really sad and I start crying. Why is it just affecting me now??

i have a son who is 23 years old he found out when he was 19 that he was gay i had a feeling he might be when he was growing up the way he wanted to the girlie things but i thought it was because he never had father but i am proud of him he is not a distruptive to soceity and has a great career, he also had gilfriends in the past but few had used him and broke his heart he always had close friendship with girls at school and had great realtionship with me we were more friends than child and mother , and i loved taking him shopping with me because he had great taste in clothes but now he is older and came out we are not as close as we used to be but he does travel for his work as he works for the airlines , i think deep down i'm disappointed that he is gay but i do accept him because he is my son .and i know some people will read this that has a hate for gay's so please no smart remarks for that is not what i'm asking you for.

There is this guy in my geometry, that I think likes me. We had to work in a group with each other and I knew him, but I never realy talked to him. He made me laugh the whole time and we would laugh about stupid stuff. In the middle of test he will look at me sometimes and make faces at me and stuff. he always trys to talk to me in class. There is a Thanksgiving party tomorow that I HAVE to go to becuase my parents said so. But, in the past couple of days I have reall just wanted some alone time just, wath soe tv, listen to music, and just enjoy being by myself. But I haven't been able to. ok well, i have a lot of friends.... but noooo guy friends. seriously, is there something wrong with me??? well, im friendly, somewhat talkative, and not too bad lookin either. i talk to guys all the time, but it just never really clicks i guess. im outta options. this is like driving me insane. and all the decent guys have girlfriends... im not looking for a boyfriend, just a guy that will be my friend. is that too much to ask? i just dont know what to do! any ideas?

Well, I just got a sitting job for a friend of my husbands. One is 8, and the other is 5. Their father works two jobs, but I know for a fact that he does some drugs. The problem is that the 8 year old is wearing clothing that is way too small. In order to wear his pants, he has to leave them unbuttoned and zipped. The five year old has fold down the back of her shoes in order to have her feet covered, and her heals stick out about an inch. I hate CPS, it is a horrid organization, but I am absolutly positive that the father would rather buy drugs for himself, than clothing and food for his children. Any suggestions as to what to do?
