If she is a BEST friend, then she should accept you for who you are and not what she wants you to be.
Don't change for her. That just gives her the satisfaction of being rude. She'll keep asking you to change. Don't do it.

Just curious...how old are you? I don't see many responsible adults who are "Goth". Aren't you going to have to make this change eventually? Also, why are you goth? If you are considering changing just because it is what your friend wants then maybe it is something that you want too or you probably wouldn't consider asking people what to do. You would know that you shouldn't change yourself for anyone but you!

If she/he is your friend she/he is going to accept you the way you are..... unless you are doing something wrong, then she/he cares about you. But if she/he only wants you to change because you are goth, then she/he is not your true friend.

Tell her you are who you are and as much as you love her you can't change for her. She won't keep trying to change who you are if she loves you (unless, of course, you are doing self-destructive things, which I assume you aren't). Peace.
