It is what you make of it. You can make it either or depending on your attitude.

Hmmmm...Is a disability a weakness or a strength?? First of all you are who you are. We all are. I believe if you choose to see yourself or another person as weak because of something they can't help then you have to work on that kind of thinking. If you believe you will grow from this adversity then more power to you. Remember everything comes from within. People will always say/do ignorant things but that's their problem..not yours!!!
I wish you all the best!!!

Depends greatly on how you perceive the truth actually. More than physical disability what's more crucial is your mind. One can be crippled for the rest of his life and blame his disability as his weakness or he has a choice to live his life just like the rest and see his crippled condition as an incentive to do better and better... Its all in the mind. :)

both. weakness (or unable to do something do to being disabled) in one area can mean greater strength in other ways. and it certainly is not weakness of character, to manage to live in spite of problems shows greater strength than if one doesn't have them.

I feel it is a strength depending on your willpower and how well you are able to cope with it.

it just depends on the person, some people it will make stronger and others it wont. its really up to the person on how they want to look at it.
