Muslims dont like their women to have male friends i guess..she told me we can still be friends behind his back. I told her that i was not comfortable with doing that. Am i right by saying that we shouldnt do things outside of the workplace anymore? She is giving me alot of grief over her choice to marry this man when it wasnt my choice for her to do that.

I believe his decision has less to do with his religion and more to do with his insecurities as a man. And no, I do not think you made the wrong choice, this could be dangerous, if he finds out who knows what he is capable of. Sounds as though he is not a very stable man. God bless****

Is it just me being completely out of touch or just being an old far* or has the world gone mad?
I am not a Muslim, I am atheist, so that's got nothing to do with my answer.
I am married, have been for many years, I go out frequently with the guys, my wife goes out frequently with her female friends, nothing wrong with that.
I would find it very odd (to say the least) if she was out with a guy as a 'friend'! She can talk about Tom Dick or Harry at work and refer to them as 'friends' no problem, but to be meeting up with male individuals outside of work on a 'friendly' basis, I don't think so!
I wouldn't dream of getting home one night and telling my wife I had just had a good evening in the bar ,( or wherever) with 'Betty' a 'friend' from work!!!
So unless I am now well out of the 'real' world keep your distance, if it was my wife you were being 'friendly' with, I would be wanting a few words with you.
I repeat I am not Muslim!!

That`s not true Muslim faith, I`m Muslim from Indonesia, and in fact in Islam teachings as long as I believed no forbidden at all for females have friendship with males, but must know the boundaries, such as: not right have sex even just kissing or touching woman that not your wife (before married)
Must know the rules and everything will be OK.
Islam is an open minded religions and it`s teachings still applicable in modern world, base on peace.
Unfortunately some of followers miss-interpretation in it` teachings. So some of them are so narrowed minded, even so stiff, and radical.....they try to understand Islam with their own -selves....so pity for them
They should learned base on Al Qur`an and Hadist ...so will lead to the right path that Islam has been teachings.

Muslim man also woman are usually jealous
For this reason man sometime don't want to share his wife much thing with other man.Normally it's not problem to meet with other people but you know there a lot of kind of crime in the world.If you want to continue your friendship you should meet with her husband and go out together. Your friend and her husband. If you be friend with her husbnd.It can be possible to meet and share anything with your friend.

That is quite right they are so far behind in the please a woman stakes that they are scared that their women will go and get satisfied else where.They must have control of their women they cant do anything else so that's what they do trying to prove that they resemble real men
