Friends - November 2006

I've had a fight with my best friend and I don't see us ever being friends again. I'm fine with this, but she has decided to take it further by threatening to hit me outside of school. She is alot bigger than me and I know she will not hesitate to knock my block off. I've told her that I will call the cops if she touches me and she doesn't care. I've also told my mother and she won't do anything until after i've been hit. How to I avoid getting hit without showing weakness?

We are friends with a man and his wife - get together for beers occasionally. His wife keeps our 8 mth old about once a week-sometimes overnight (they call us and ask for her). They refer to themselves as Mamaw and Papaw to her. Any ideas for what we can get them for xmas from our daughter? One present for both or seperate gifts? We have @$50 to spend on them.

Also - we are good friends with another couple who are our neighbors. Need an idea for what to give them from us and the kids. Prefer to keep the $50 gift limit. They have kids my age and 9 grandkids I think who all live out of town. They spend a lot of time with our 6 & 9 year olds. I have ideas for her but not for him yet. They are 'young' grandparents

Friend blows me off when he supposed to have did me a favor and his car breaks down about 2 hours out of town. He calls me to pick him up eventhough he doesn't do what I asked him to do and he wasn't even going to call me, I was at home waiting... Would you go get him or let him rely on lhis own devices?

so in my high school there’s a guy in year 12 and i am in year 11 and 3 months ago i found out that he was interested on me and then slowly i liked him too but we never really spoke we just used to stare at each other also because I am not that out going and also I don’t think he’s that out going too. since then his friends always used to stare at me whenever I walked past and they used to talk loud about him but the guy I liked was a bit shy tho I don’t know wether he’s just pretending or naturally like that, that and that was the first thing about him which made me attracted to him.

also because his locker was on top of mine so when ever we passed by we just gave a little smile sometime he even followed me but in a good way and i liked that and sometime I even wrote this small note to him while his exams were on saying good luck.
sometime I fear that he might break my trust because his friends are all badly influence and I just think if he is also then I cant change but sometime my friend warns me that he might just use me.
because I am asian with brown skin and my boobs.if its this then sorry he’s not my type because what I am looking on a guy is to respect me and accept who I am.




one time his friend asked me out and i said no so may be he might be scare that i'll say no to him too and is it that's why he's scare to talk with me. we sometime talked but was always just a short conversation and whenever I go to talk tohim his friends were around.
this kept going on untill the end of school year but because he's in year 12 so that was the last year for them so if he’s not going to do any thing then I might have to do something I had a fear of losing him.
because he didn’t asked for my number so I thought if I don’t give my number to him then nothings going to happen so I gave my number to his friend to give it to him and told him that to tell him just to come and see me before he leaves I waited after school but he didn’t come I was so sad but then my friends told me may be he was just flirting with me and they told me that he’s not worth but still it wasn’t as easy as they said because he was the 1st guy that I truly fell in for so that night he texted me saying “ that he was sorry that he couldn’t come and meet me so he said he was busy with his study because his exams were coming so he said that he’ll call me after the exams and said that we can meet up after the exams….and that’s my story…….
and now exams are all over and its already been more than a week since exams are all over and I am still waiting for his call but if he doesn’t call me then I ‘ll be going crazy but also I don’t want him to feel that I am desperate and chasing him..so I want him to call me and I want him to come to me…

hello friends
i have a friend who had an affair with a guy ... whom i feel she still loves. she talked to her parents and they rejected the guy because he was from different caste (india,hindu). she still thinks abt him but ppl at her home are looking for match and she stopped contact with guy . i persuaded the guy to call her again
but she insulted the guy saying he irritates her and i feel guilty for hurting the guy.she has been rude enough to not even say guy that she is leaving him not because she didn't love him but her parents didn't ... she still acts like a kid and listens to her parents
wat do u suggest her to do at this situation

ok so, i have now finished school and already i feel like my group as like basically split up! i mean two of my very good friends i have'nt seen in ages! i feel as though im always the one making at effort to see them i mean dont get mre wrong i wanna see them but they never ask me to do stuff its always me organzing it and wat not, it gets really annoying! wat should i do? stick with it or ditch them

I gave birth a few months ago and my friend Gina didn't come to see me in the hospital. She called me several times though.
Sine I've returned home with the baby, Gina has seen my child twice.
A few months before me, a girl we know from highschool (Laura) gave birth. Gina went to see her at the hospital about two or three times. She also has been to Laura's house several times to see the baby.
Does Gina like Laura and her baby better than me and my child? If so, is it because both girls are Puerto Rican. I'm Mexican.
They also went to the same college.

My friend/colleague (I no longer work there) keeps mentioning about going out one night. I've made a suggestion, but it's been too pricey for her (she wants to go to see a westend show). She told me if she hears of any cheap theatre tickets she'd let me know and vice a versa. So far nothing. I've told her I've seen some cheap shows to go to, which is in both our price range. She does keep saying she'd like to meet before Christmas and so I left it as, "Well, if we don't decide on a show soon, we may never meet". She hasn't answered. There are 3 shows in our price range, but it never pulls off somehow. I happily agreed to purchase these tickets over the net, as she's not keen on her details going on the internet. She does want to go to a show, but nothing goes ahead. What shall I do?
