Just be honest and sincerely apologize. If they are a true friend they will accept that, although the hurt may linger for awhile. You've also damaged your trust with them, so you must be extra careful from now on.

You know what they like and what they don't like! so
Ask them to go some were whit you. Since it is Christmas time it is the time of loving and giving so show that person some love and cear and give him/her a present and when they except it you can start talking about what happened and maybe you can sort it out or this person can give you a second change.

You would need to explain what you did to hurt them. Sometimes a simple "I'm Sorry" will do the trick. If they are truly your friend they will forgive you don't you think?

Apologize, genuinely and sincerely. Then give them time to figure out if they will forgive you. It might not be immediate, but if they value your friendship, and if the offense wasn't TOO grievous, chances are they'll forgive you.
