We are friends with a man and his wife - get together for beers occasionally. His wife keeps our 8 mth old about once a week-sometimes overnight (they call us and ask for her). They refer to themselves as Mamaw and Papaw to her. Any ideas for what we can get them for xmas from our daughter? One present for both or seperate gifts? We have @$50 to spend on them.

Also - we are good friends with another couple who are our neighbors. Need an idea for what to give them from us and the kids. Prefer to keep the $50 gift limit. They have kids my age and 9 grandkids I think who all live out of town. They spend a lot of time with our 6 & 9 year olds. I have ideas for her but not for him yet. They are 'young' grandparents
SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY PLEASE!!!

FOR THE "MAMAW AND PAPAW", HOW ABOUT A GIFT CERTIFICATE FOR THEIR FAVORITE RESTAURANT....ALONG WITH A NICE FRAMED PHOTO OF YOUR DAUGHTER.

AND FOR THE "NEIGHBORS", HOW ABOUT A BASKET WITH A DVD (THAT YOU THINK THEY'D LIKE), SOME BUBBLE BATH, MASSAGE OIL, SCENTED CANDLES, CHOCOLATES, ETC.

HOW VERY THOUGHTFUL OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY TO INCLUDE THEM AT CHRISTMAS. YA'LL ARE LUCKY TO HAVE EACH OTHER IN YOUR LIVES!!!

I would suggest a gift certificate to a very nice restaurant. I say this only because they seem to be around kids alot and maybe a nice night out to themselves would be nice. I know gift certificates are so blah... but yet sometimes they can be nice.

Give them a gift certificate and let them choose what they want to buy with the money.

How about a nice portrait of your kids, and a invite for dinner.
