You have a crush. Your crush can go into any direction in this world, but you must always taste the given fruit of life, cause it may disappear as fast as it has appeared.
Guys are created to notice. If they don't notice, either they are not interested or are not experienced enough.
What you must do is rather not tell him directly but let him know; lead him into noticing what you want him to do. It is better to let guys make the first move. It that doesn't help, then you can tell them directly, but you must be prepared that you may end up being hurt or you could scare them away.

If you are 25 years old then slowly try to find out by inviting him for coffee/tea/juice at public places, see what happens.
If younger just cool it and concentrate on thing on hand, study, building carrier....... but no harm just taking to the person.
You will meet many more similar people from time to time and you will be more experience in handling such emotion, as you grow older.

Wait a while and relax. You have a 'crush' and it is not love as yet. Do continue meeting & talking to him. This shall ensure that you know him even better.
If you discover that the crush is reciprocated; the guy is good and above all you still feel something close to love, talk about it.

Don't tell him now. Wait and watch if he too has similar feelings . If you are not able to make it even after some time , then probably you can try to put it very subtly to him.

I wud say tell him . there are two ways a) directly or b) indirectly.. it's for u to decide.
I would adive you tell him directly. but if u dont want to get hurt, then try telling indirectly. for example- tell him how nicely he does something, or you like his shirt, or anything that he is good at, or you really like abt him. look convincing but not casual. say it when you really mean it. smile n blush when he talks to you. see if it works. good luck
