Friends - November 2006

I have a friend who use to be the best person in the whole world. Not just to me but almost everybody, but she was most attentive to me. She was so interested in me, as in a friend way, she was always by my side more than my best friend, my best friend is nice and all, but sometimes when she's having a bad day or jealous of me, she puts me down, by saying I'm not very artistic or creative, or I have a huge zit, or a mustache loudly for all the guys in my class to hear. But she, not my best friend but the one I'm talking about, stands up for me, and like this one time I cried cause a group of girls ask me something really personal, but when I refused to tell them, they started picking on me, and stuff so I ran out crying, She was in a totally different class, when one word reached to her, those girls made me cry, she rushed to my side w/o a sec. thought. We spent summer apart and when we got back to school this year, she was a total different person to me.

i met my friend 3 months ago or so and she use to be round all the time, which i didnt mind but sometime she was taking adavantage then she was always expecting food etc but anyway she has started making new friends and has a boyfriend and now she only comes when she cant stay at theres and also last night she rang at 1am saying she needed somewhere to stay i said she could stay and waited up and she never turned up, but txt today saying how u doing. what would u do?

I don't have any best friend but I do have close friends. I already experienced to have a bestfriend when I'm an elementary pupil but soon I found out that we can't agree on anything and this disagreement will soon go to serious conflicts and now I am a high school student, I decided not to have a best friend.

And this is the question that I really don't know how to answer,
What is that thing to consider that you two are now best friend?

I've been friends with this Croatian guy for about 5 years. When I first met him, he was rather timid and cowardly, as am I, but upon meeting me he quickly became confident, a little too confident in himself. Early last year, he became obsessed with ancient Chinese and Japanese culture, and rapidly descended into a samurai like personality, considering himself to be above everyone else. He saw me as unworthy, he bossed me around and several times, he accused me of being selfish and dishonorable. He manipulated me into swearing an oath of brotherhood with him, and I feared him greatly, considering that he beats everyone I know in fights (sparring). This year, I reunited him with a girl he hadn't seen for 12 years, he tried to hook up with her, but failed, then he entered his descent into darkness. He forced me to relay terrorising messages to her, I refused, dishonouring the oath. Now he wants my blood. He sends me threatening text messages, and he says if I don't unblock him on MSN...

I take 8 classes, but they are split.. so I take 4 classes a day and 4 classes the next day. In my History class, there's this girl who constantly keep looking at me, and it's so abvious cus I sit across where she sits and a lot of times I catch her looking at me. It's kinda weird. Same thing in my Spanish class, this girl who constantly look at me and I just pretend that she's not looking at me. Same thing in my Music class.

First: I'm totally straight, I'm guy crazy.
Second: I don't think these girls are gay cus they're the kind who seems like boy crazy, they seem like so girly girls.

What should I do? it's bothers me when they look @ me. And I never ever talk to any of them, cept this girl in my Music class, but she's shy everytime I talk to her. Whatta heck? I'm confused... is that normal????

There are times when my friends make fun of me, laugh at me and I feel like an idiot when all of them laugh. I know they are just having some fun, but always it is me that is being targeted in the entire group. This happens at certain times. They are co-operative at other times, but I just get sick of all the teases. Plz tell me how do I cope with this?

my friend recently sent me a text after I helped her. she said on the text that ' you are a true friend' to me, I was extremly happy to hear that she considers me a good friend. But we have known each other for just one year. Now I meet her less often that we used to because I changed my jobs and had less free time....My question is how long do you think it is nessesary to become true friends. Is time not important? and do you think she said that sentence casually?

Ok so me and my best friend were in a rather seemingly similar situation both very new to relationships and had met guys online. Well hers lived far away and we would talk about him and she would be so happy with him even tho he was 1k mile away. So anyway after a year she finally met him and he is currently staying with her. He is a 32 yr old and lived with his mother before comming up here to stay with and get to know her. He has not since tried to take her on a date or as far as I know pay for her dinner. All he does is makes sure she has enough money to pay for her rent(but doesnt help out with money besides micro managing her spending). Well besides all of this she wont even hang out with me anymore I know she has priorites now that her man is spending time with her (Btw he doenst even tell her if hes staying or not) but it just seems like 1. she doesnt ever have time for me or forgets when we are supposed to spend time together, or 2. she's to busy in the bedroom to get out.
