I want to know if there's anyone who's so alone in the world right now that feel like they're not lonely anymore when they're in publuc and purpposely venture to public places for that reason?

Yepper that's me....
Went to the big Cabelas store last night.
Hung around for 4 hrs just to be around people.
Went home killed off a whole bottle of Ezra Brooks.
Gotta be more to life at 46 than this.
And I'm a well off pretty good looking guy that is well educated.

Your question is not straight forward simply because even when a person is not alone, or lonely, and with a crowd of friends they can still feel alone, it depends on the person, and their mentality.

Sometimes I feel totally detached from the human race. Sometimes when I go out in public, I feel like I'm pretending to be one of "them". I'll go to the self check lane so I don't have to speak to anyone.

yes, but i am so anxious to be in crowds cause people stare at me and it drives me crazy. i go out once in a while and it feels good to be around humans. i just feel like i don't belong in social situations at all.

I do it all the time. I just go to the mall or to a coffee shop just to be around people, and not feel alone.

i am a very lonly person at this point in my life ...goin in public or being around freinds doesn't always help..but i jus think that i know one day things will change and i know that i won't have to worry about bein lonly no more..the only way to go is up!!!!
