You have to be really careful when a platonic friendship between a man and a woman gives hints of becoming something else.
He may not have been ready to accept the fact that you are moving towards a more intimate relationship than a friendship. Guys are like that. Then again, he probably felt a little threatened when you mentioned another guy as a boyfriend. We guys sometimes rely on our female platonic friends for emotional support, so when you mentioned this other guy, he really felt sad -- but guys usually outrightly express every negative emotion they have by getting mad.
Take him someplace private or talk to him on the phone (not e-mail) and ask him this question: Would you like our friendship to move in the direction of a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship -- or do you want it to remain as it is?
Good luck now, dear. You have to remember that we guys are not as verbal as you ladies, especially when it comes to talking about people who mean a lot to us. You are learning about men.

If she's youthful than him, i might say carry off on it. he's probable shielding of her, and worse, he's familiar with you so if he does not like the variety you take care of or communicate approximately ladies then he can no longer approve of you seeing her. somewhat, i might attempt to speak a million-on-a million together with his sister extra to work out if there is any ability there. What if she's caught-up, or she does not like something which you like? Or if she's uninteresting, or annoyingly stupid? there is not any use ruining a friendship over a woman which you do no longer even get alongside with.

That is always a no no. If your friend is dating him you don't say anything. He might think of you as a good friend and now by telling him he feels weired around you. He does not see you like that and he does not know how to act around you anymore.

you were probably such a good friend, and now you want to ruin it by turning into the girlfriend, I say repress your feelings and hold on to your friend, try to find someone else to date, hold on to your friend, and eventually he may turn over a new leaf and fall for you, let him know he cant have his cake and eat it too. You may want to really think about what and why you like him as more than a friend.

He has problems. You should talk to him yourslef or have someone talk to him for you to find out what's wrong. I can't think of a single reason why a guy would get mad becauuse of that.

he probably felt uneasy at first. he was caught off guard. his temperament is slow to warm up. so he needs time to think things through. probably an introvert. so when he finally realized that he likes you too he got pissed off that you went out dating other guys when you also told him that you liked him.
