This is my problem, my husband's old high school friend is a really great guy and I really like him as a person- but he has made some bad choices in his life.
he has 5 children ( with 3 different women) and he works at a burger place. needless to say, he doesn't have a lot of money.
my husband and I are doing okay, we both have good office jobs with benefits and we save and invest our money.

Everytime my husband is with his friend jim, jim always hints that he can't afford his bills,food... ect. and usually, my hubby buys him or pays for whatever jim is hinting about.. jim doesn't make wise financial choices- he bought an xbox360 instead of paying his car payment. and guess who helped him out? .. he eats out a lot and spends most of his money on booze. I've talked to my husband about this- ( we're saving to buy a home and prepaping to start a family.) his response is " the guy needs help." I've even talked to jim in a very gentle way. nothing has changed. please help.

Please i need help, his name is Gary, he's so dam shy, he never leaves his room he's about 23 and i took him to a party one time but he just stood by a wall and never talked to anyone, i dont understand whats wrong with him, he's skinny, he pees with the bathroom door wide open, and i dont even think he's ever had a girlfriend, he has never showed any interest in women either, and he takes long pauses when he does stuff, which just weirds me out, i've noticed that other asians at my school act like this too, when i asked him what he does for fun he didnt know what to say, he has no friends but he's been at this school for 7 years, crap i feel bad for him how can i help him? I dont like to see people like this, i dont think he's happy either, how could he be? Well please if anyone out there knows how i can help him please tell me, thank you.

Earlier today me and one of my girls were at the mall and there was this lady with a boy who was probably around 7 or 8 years old. My friend who was with me is overweight and this little boy kept making fun of her. Calling her a fat pig and making animal noises and being really rude. And doing it right in front of his mom who said absolutely nothing to him and didn't even try to make him stop. It kind of hurt my friend who's a little more passive than i am but it made me angry that a parent would let her child act that way in public and not do anything about. In fact, it looked like she was enjoying it because she was grinning. Well, after a couple of minutes of standing in line and trying to ignore it, i finally confronted her and told her she needs to teach her son some manners. She got upset and gave me that 'kids will be kids" crap and we had a nice little argument. I say you should teach your kids how to act and not insult people. Am i wrong for saying anything to this woman?

I have this friend and I feel that she has not been a good friend to me. Everytime I would tell her my personal business she would make direct but indirect comments to me. It seems as if she has always tried to put me down in some way. I stopped speaking to her a couple of times and when confronted she would make excuses. I feel she is jealous of me. I would give more examples but i want to be discreet.

Well she was talking to this guy who was a professional athlete. They never went out or anything. Well he tried to talk to me and i refused. I never told her. Does anyone think I am wrong for not telling her? I didn't tell her because I felt that she would be more nasty towards me, etc.

I'm a guy, something is up with this girl. Im 16. Shes 17. Ever since i got back to school, shes been different. One day, she starts resting her arm on my leg. I touch her shoulder, and she totally hugs me. She stole my hat for as long as she could. Riped a small hole in my shirt. Then all of a sudden its not as cosistant. So I brushed it off. Shes steals other peoples hats, wrestles with her male friend. But is still paying attention to me. Talks to me when ever she can. Then the other day, one of my friends asks whats up with us. That she may like me and is always touching me. Next day, she tries to write on my arm and it seems like she is trying to touch my hand. But when i asked her about it she says she does that to everyone, but i havent seen the same attention to anyone else. Today in the hall walked right into me. Problems are shes bi and apprently wants to have a relationship with a girl, but it wont happen. She touchs other guys. So does she like me and if so how do i ask

to talk to this girl ive been wanting to talk to for a really long time cuz last year she started talking to me cuz i was standing by myself at my highschool in the morning you know before the bell rings to go to class and she says "your so lonely" lol and she's right. My friends weren't there yet so i just waited there. Ok this dude who I use to date we are cool but he is going thru a rough time right now. Tuesday I txted him and asked when I cld spend sumtime with him. An hour and a half later he responded that he didnt know because he was having all these problems and was stressed out. I took this as he was blowing me off bc he didnt have to do anything but spend a little time with me by chilling at the house and he knew that so I figured that he just didnt wnt to be bothered, ok cool. So tonight he come textin me all like wht you doing what you got planned for tonight. So I get excited thinking he wants to kick it with me!! But you know what the asshole wanted. To use my car to go out with his brother. Talkin bout he been couped up in his apartment since Sat and he want to go out. So um like out where? He say just out. So um like NO!!! U r nt abt to use my car to go to some club to scam on broads. So am I wrong to be pissed?

So I asked a girl if she would date me, and she was not sure if she liked me liked me, so a week after I asked (being today) she said no she was not going to go out with me and I said I was fine with that to her...and I know she was going to day no for the last 2 days but still I feel so depress that she said no...

My friends are really different from me. They don't care much about grades, while I freak about it. Some of them date guys, even though we're only thirteen and I don't want to date yet since they don't last for more than a week being in junior high. They like hip hop and sing about it a lot, and I don't know the songs. They have a certain way of speaking, and I don't, but I really don't want to feel left out when I'm with them. Any help?
