Friends - October 2006

Well to clarify, am a gal, 23, professional, the problem is i have always found it hard to make friends with gals, for some reason gals tend to keep their distance from me. but the guys flock around me all the time.
this was not much of a problem till now, now am working and i would like to hang out more with my female colleagues.
moreover the thing with guys is that they always seem to want more than just friendship, when am not interested they just drift away. Its very hurtful.
Also me hanging out with guys makes me seem like.. you know... And am a constant target of the gals' gossips..
Am a sweet gal, guys find me funny honest and loveable.. but why dont gals feel that way ? Can anybody help ? Thanks..

Ok so me and my bestfriend were always together doing everything and we would always hang out with these two guys that each like us and we like them so then the one became my boyfriend and she no longer wanted anything to do with her guy and ever since i started dating him she never talks to me as much and ignores me a lot it seems i dont know if she is jelous that i have a boyfriend now and i am not by her side every second now but she is making me really mad...what should i do just ignore everything, try talking to her, or wait till she talks to me?

I don't understand, why all my girl bestfriends starting from I was a kid, all backstabbed me. Am I really that bad? but why I have lots of boys friends? and they still keep in touch with me for years if I am that shitty? I never even once try to harm my friends, but why did they want to backstabbed me and always talk behind my back? this is only for girl friends, all my guys friends are very nice to me. I really don't get it. Why did I do wrong to them? I really care, share and more... Is he just messing with me, he is like my best friend and he away telling me he loves me and telling everyone that were going out and always trying to make me jealous but then other time he can be so mean. p. s: if you know your friend likes you more than friends, and you flirt with him/her so you wont hurt their feelings, but never go out with them. so they will be satisfied, yet you wont be in a relationship? is this jerky?

my ex girlfriend talked to me a couple of days ago and she was mad at me because she heard that i said something that wasnt true. I tried to tell her i didnt say it but she wont believe me. She said that i told one of my friends who told one of her friends and then she heard about it. She wont tell me who started the rumor but i didnt say anything. How can i get her to tell me who it is and get her to believe me?

I got a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a friend. He moved in first and took the master bedroom which has a walk in closet and a 2 room bathroom. The master bedroom is 150 sqf bigger and even bigger if you count the closet/bathroom space .

He thinks we should split the rent and i think he is crazy. He wont pay anymore than half cause he doesnt have the money. So i offered to pay 450 of our 750 rent if I could get the big room. But he wont do it cause he thinks since he lined the apartment up he should get choice of bedrooms.

What is a fair split for rent in a situation like this?

ps. I also am paying our entire cable/internet bill as he said he wouldnt pay for it and not to get it. Although he uses/watches it all the time.
