Should we save our ancient buildings and monuments as we see sometimes Governmemt does not take interest ?

As citizens we should help government realize the importance to save these places that echo our beginnings. I don't think its so much government doesn't take interest, I think they are just so busy keeping their citizenry happy and their revenue within the given lines that they don't have a lot of time to maintain or track these places; that is what they have us for ;<)
