I like her, and I still do. I accidently ripped something that belonged to her friend, and now she hates me. I know she liked me before, but now, I think she just, absolutely hates me. I couldn't say sorry to her friend because I hated her friend. What should I do? She doesn't even talk to me online anymore.

This guy likes me, but i really dont have those feelings towards him. we are really good friends though, and so i cant just ignore him. he has been wanting to do everything with me, almost stalker-ish, but not in that derogitory sense. i still want to be friends with him, but he is a really sensitive guy and everything that i tell him, he blows way out of proportion. how do i communicate to him to give me space, without him flipping out about it? OK with in a three day time span this is what has happened::
first i have to deal with my best friends jealousy about me and my boyfriend, [[and dont tell me im a ***** b/c i said shes ''just jealous'', shes told me her self many-a-times.]] and when us three where hanging out she got all massive depressive, and when i see her that way i get that way. then i got home late that night and my bro adn step dad were up waiting. my step was acting a little weird so i kept askignhim what was wrong, and then he just started crying, ive never seen him cry so hard, at all for thatmatter. he talk to me adn my bro for about 45 mins telling us how he was fed up with my mom and her drinking. and how hes thought about leaving but doesnt want to just leave us and doesn want to leave my mom when shes havign this problem (alchy) he went on and on, and it was so sad. then the next day my other best friend called adn she said she ran away..again... cuz she got into a huge fight with her step dad.

Have you ever wondered what the real story is like whenever someone comes onto Yahoo Answers and asks a question about how they can fix a friend problem. They would give you a story but sometimes that may not be the real story, it could really just some story that the person made up to either get attention or make it seem like their friend is the bad guy and not the other way around. Does anybody here think about that too?

Ok my friends mom hits her all the time she's whipped her with a phone charger cord and gave her a scar! She absolutly refuses to tell any adults she told me in confidence that I wouldn't tell ANYONE (now this doesn't count because I'm not telling who it is or anything) but, I want to know how I can help her without telling anyone, like how can I make her happy or feel safe? a thousand miles away} has run into some major problems.

Her mother never was a good parent, but she has recently taken the cake. They're not well off; my friend was relying on a loan which would have deferred the payments until she graduated from college. Her mother cosigned.

Some signals got crossed, as they have to start paying in the second semester. The mother has decided she'll have no part of it, which leaves the girl without the money to continue her schooling.

There is no other financial option, aside from impressing her story on the aid department. They turned her down for their student loan, as did the banks.

What can I say to try and help her through this situation? I've never been in this kind of position. Any practical advice I can give her? Perhaps possible financial ideas? Emotional comfort?

My friend (Bill) got married this summer to a real b***ch. Ever since he met this girl all of his friends have disliked her. My friends and I have never told him how we feel about her. Now that he is married he wants us to stop by his house and hang out. Nobody wants to go to his house because of her. She tends to talk down to him when we are there and she is always trying to start some drama ( for attention). I cant stand being around her and therefore I am being forced to slowly withdraw from my friendship. All of my friends feel the same way about her. I am running out of excuses of why I can't hang out with him. What should i do? Should I ever tell him how I feel about her or just keep quiet and let time take its course?

My best friend and i have been friend since we were young
we found out she was pregnant last summer on our senior year
she didnt graduate cause she would miss school alot. I wanted to graduate together, but her pregnacy and her lazyness was her excuse not to go to school, so she failed.i would always get after her cause i would tell her to trie her best i would go to her house and wake her up to go to school but she didnt seem to care. now she is seven months pregnant and it seems that we cant be friends no more because she doesnt talk to me like she used to. she doesnt tell me her problems, she doesnt call me, she doesnt like going out. i dont know whats wrong with her. should i stop talking to her forever and trow away our friendship.
i understand she is pregnant but thats not a reason to act this way.

See, the conventional 'truth' is that someone is in lust with another person, and the other person doesn't have feelings for him/her.

the other conventional story is when 2 people are in love...

So it's all happy and great and they marry and have kids. Then they decide they are not in love anymore and get divorced.


to REFINE the question: what happens when 2 SENSIBLE teenagers (who are never going to have sex until marriage) are in lust with each other?

remember, no sex involved. What would happen? (hypothetically :P)
