visit you, what would you do while they were there? The usual tourist trap sightings? PS. I am in the north east area.

There are good books on walking tours of Seattle. They aren't just to the usual tourist traps. Look in bookstores, libraries, and on Google. I don't understand why you don't want to take the buses. They go all over and are pretty good. Don't rule them out. If you want to drive but your friend doesn't, look into renting a car through Flexcar.
