i am an extremely straight girl, but i have a best friend [who's a girl] who is very very pretty, and i love her to death [like a sister] but i feel like i think about her more than i should but is it just because she's my BEST friend? cuz i haven't really had this great of a friend before [good ones, but not great] and if anybody, guy or girl regardless, hurt her in any way i'd prolly beat the living crap out of them. is it okay to do that for a best friend? i have no sexual feelings for her at all i just need to know if what i'm doing and feeling is okay.

Still I help them because I know if I dont help them who else will. Moreovr if I 2 dont help , there'll b no difference between me & them. But when I need their help they simply turn deaf 2 my problms. Then again when they r in problem I help them thinkig now they'll change, bt they dont.I am under depression because of this. PLZ. I befriended a tenant in my building one day (small talk) in the laundry room and saw her from time to time. I really do not want anything to do with her anymore. She askes to borrow money because she is always short but has money for cigarettes and booze???? I suspect she is an alcoholic because I smell it on her breath everytime we speak. She is now knocking on my door upwards to 3 times a day and I just wish she would go away. I am tired of giving excuses i.e. I am tired, I was napping, I am cooking. What can I say to her to leave me alone respectively of course.

My friend and I were close until she got the exact same suv but much better without even telling me what she was planning on doing! Her mom even advised to quit being her friend because she is in so much competition with me and I had no idea! My friend hasn't even spoken to me or given me any type of explanation at all, it's so weird. What is her problem? Has anyone ever had a "friend" do this to them?

As I was wrapping up my time at Northern Michigan University, approaching college graduation, I was friends with this one girl. She and I did a lot together, like go out for ice cream and talk until after midnight. After graduation, we kept talking to each other, but one night, she snapped over AIM, in essence, calling me a creep and accusing me of tying my happiness to her. Since that night, I've been trying to find the boundaries with other people, but I've had to keep my relationships awfully cold to avoid crossing the line.
