A lot of people swear by tea tree oil as a zit zapper, it's natural and pretty inexpensive. Benzoyl peroxide is another one that's good for zits, that is what they use in pro-active and most acne products.
I tried pro-active awhile back and it's a decent product, but it can be costly and when you stop using it the acne comes back twice as bad. I used to get a few zits here and there, especially around that time of the month. My face cleared up so great, when I started drinking lots of water and exercising. That's a good regimen to follow.
Get yourself a good astringent to tighten your pores and an oil free moisturizer. Neutrogena has a great oil free moisturizer. I like witch hazel as an astringent, it's natural and gentle and won't over dry your face. Just make sure you get witch hazel that has the smallest percentage of alcohol in it.
If all else fails, see a dermatologist so they can assess whether or not you have acne or another skin problem. I've found that most medications the dermatologist will give you, dries out your skin and causes scaling, but they can also recommend some antibiotics for you to help clear up your skin as well.

Have you tried Mary Kay? the teen formula is great, but a lil expensive. About $15 a bottle, I think. Or try switching around. From for instance, Noxema to Biore or something like that. New cleaners can work wonders then tone done, so then switch again.

There are actual things out there. Go to Walgreens and look from this stuff by Pure Zone. I can't remember what it's called, but it comes in a really small tube and you put it on and tomorrow it's gone. At least it always works for me. Or if you have to have it gone and can't leave the house, try applying a really hot towel to it and just holding it there.

Funny ?. My son and I were discussing the same thing. We think his maybe caused from stress. So all the washing in the world won't help. He does use Clearasil and doesn't think it helps. Try thinking of triggers and change habits. You know pop and chocolate. Its a start. Good luck and if you can't get it under control try a good dermatologist.

My daughter had bad acne, then she started cleaning her skin with olive oil. You'd think this would make it worse, but no. Her skin got better, fewer zits and less oily, believe it or not. It took a few weeks, this is not a quick coverup.
