My friend and I were close until she got the exact same suv but much better without even telling me what she was planning on doing! Her mom even advised to quit being her friend because she is in so much competition with me and I had no idea! My friend hasn't even spoken to me or given me any type of explanation at all, it's so weird. What is her problem? Has anyone ever had a "friend" do this to them?

Hmmm. That does sound a little strange, but I wouldn't stop being her friend over it if you still like her. Just pretend you didn't notice or don't care. If she continues to do everything like you, then maybe you should reconsider hanging out with her. She needs to have her own identity.

Ypu should not take offense. Imitation is the purest form of flattery. Apparently she trusts your judgement and influence more than she trusts her own.

The funny thing about pop culture is that people generally tend to decide what is in style based on what the media says. But very few people decide what is in style based on what they really like.

This reminds me of a Lifetime movie. If her own mom says that you 2 shouldn't be friends, then maybe you should take her advice! Friends don't need to be competing with you!!!!!

All that matters is that you can afford your car. If your friend cannot afford hers, she will eventually kiss that car goodbye.

geeeeeeesssssss.....why can't she have the same car...if it's better ...it's better...if you had gotten the best one...then you would have the same...why would she have to ask your permission to get the same car(but better) seems to me you have the problem...because it's a better car.....
