Anything that can take his mind off of his girl friend and remind him that there are loads of other people in his life. While he may have cared very deeply about her that she isn't the only chick on the planet. Get him to get out of the house , go do something.

Give your brother a chance to heal his wounds. You could take him out every once in a while to try and take his mind off of his ex-girlfriend. He's going through a tough time right now so give him a chance to heal. Continue being there for him as his sister and he will appreciate that.

do fun stuff with him-things he likes. also organize his friends to take him out on more than one occasion and show him a good time. after a while he will realize that he is still loved, and can have fun without her, and life does not suck after all.

Things take time and he is healing. So you should talk about stuff that will get his mind off her.
