Couple divorced in 1988, they had two children. Judge set child support payments for the father at 97.00 a week. Social security record indicate that the father made anywhere from 5,000-16,000 a year for the period that they were divorced. (Couple in this senerio now remarried in 1993). State states that the father owes 24,000.00 in back child support for those years. Is this fair based on father's earnings for those years?

I have been going back and forth with my ex for the past three months. He acts like he wants to be with me and then he doesn't. coming around when it is convenient for him. Answering my calls when he wants. I am so tired of his bullshit. It is a new year and I just want to be done with his az. I called him and TM him and got no reply tonight. It is emotionally draining and I know I will hear from him in the next two weeks. Should I change my phone number, I was planning to change it anyway b/c I just moved to a new city and I wanted a local number. I just kind of feel that it would be good change b/c he cannot call when he feels like it and when it is convenient for him. If he wants to really contact me he still can through email but I was just wondering if this would be to drastic. I just do not want to hear that BS that he talks anymore. Its time to move on!!!!!!!!!!

i have a good friend of mine that i like alot...well we have been a little more than friends and weve been doing stuff. she invited me to a new years party she made but the only thing is this guy she likes/liked at some point is gonna be there. she was really anxious to see him on new years thats b4 things happened between us. she expects me to be there and i have a feeling that im just gonna end up being the outsider/backup so i refused to go. am i wrong to say no to her, or is she messed up to ask me in the first place?

I went on a date Friday night...it was great (good chemistry, eye contact, laughing, conversation,etc). Based on the date and his body language, Im pretty sure he likes me. But, he did not kiss or hug me at the end of the date. Instead, he said "call me sometime if you want to go to the movies or hang out". When I told him I had a great time, he said "we should do this again SOMETIME". Okay, so does he really want ME to be the one to call him next? Or, should I continue to wait to see if he calls? I can see his house from mine so I know he is not seeing anyone else or doing anything right after work. I have just re-entered the dating scene and am not sure how this is supposed to play out. My "So called" best friend of 4 years and I have a tradition where we spend every New Years together. When it's midnight we promise to be friends for the upcoming year. He and I were supposed to do it again this year and we made plans for it. It's now 9:45 and I was just informed that he went out with his sister and a few friends (his sister has been out of his life for YEARS and me and my family practically raised him for the last four. He even lives with my grandma now). He didn't bother to tell me this and even up till 7 pm of today said we'd be doing something tonight. I'm so pissed off I want to end our friendship entirely. My boyfriend cheated on me and I made us break the lease on our townhouse and get our own places. I moved in with my parents to save some money and he got a new apartment. But instead of paying $400 ( we split it) in rent now he has to pay $700 plus all the other bills. Now he wants me back becuase he realizes that he loves me. He is pretty poor these days. Is is coming back because of me or because he is broke? I told him I didnt want to work things about before christmas becuase that was all he would talk about.

My lover of 7 years died suddenly from leukemia 5 years ago. When I met him, I was a black man in my late 20's who was just coming to terms with his bi-sexuality. He was a divorced white male dad(with two daughters), 51, business executive, rugged(Marlboro/cowboy man type), and very ambitious loving man. With him I fell in love for the first time. He made me very happy. I am sure I did the same for him. We did things together. We were two regular musculine guys. I was totally devastated when he passed on.

After mourning him for 2 years, I decided to pick up my shattered life and find another true love. Now in my late thirties, I found out the hard way that most of the people out there are not really interested in relationships or anything monogamous/true love. I decided to post my experience here before giving up. I am sure there is somebody out there who might offer advice. Will I ever find mr. right again? Thank you for reading.
