When someone separates from their spouse is it consider legal or do one has to complete legal papers to specify - legal separation. HOw is this relating to a divorce.

I recently lost my job and have found it difficult to get rehired. My
last job ended on a sour note. A very close family member told me that what goes around comes around. In essence that I deserved to lose my job. In retrospect I believe many factors led to the loss, and I except responsibilty for that. My question is whether or not that was the right thing to say? I have always put my family first and for that to be said ,truely broke my heart.

Okay let me explain a little, years ago I had sex with somone who has basically been in love with me for years. I did not feel the same way about her, but we continued to be good friends anyways. Well one night after to much to drink on both of our parts we wound up hopping off on the good foot and doing the bad thing yeah baby!! So now suddenly she is writing me letters and emails telling me how much she loves me and always has. She just wants me to give her a chance. The bad thing is I have told her repeatedly since the night in question that I do not have feelings for her and never will, she will just not take no for an answer. It has gotten to the point that I avoid her at all costs. It is not so bad if we are around other people she doesn't talk about it but if we are alone she constantly bugs me about hooking up. I am almos scared to date other people because if she is stalking me this way what would she do to my girlfriend? How do I get rid of her?

My bestfriend Curtis and I have known eachother since gr.2 and this summer he tells me he had a crush on me back in gr.5 and a few weeks ago I was mad at my bf and Curtis told me to get over it. I filed for divorce over a half year ago, but the divorce is being drawn out and is still not finalized. I know legally I am still married and shouldn't date.
