ex giving me a hard time, trying not to let him get the best of me

Well I didn't get beat, and have thorns stuck in my head, or had to drag a heavy cross just to get nailed to it. Keep the faith, stay strong, and stop all cummunication with the ex! He can't get to you, if he can't talk to you.

When it comes to interactions between people, you have to know that free will is necessary. God gave us all free will, including your ex, and He won't take it away from your ex. He won't break His own rules. If He did you couldn't trust Him.
If you believe in God then you have got to believe that His ex-servant, Satan exists too. That jerk and his minions love to mess up our lives, just to hurt God. They don't want us to have free will and they try to influence our will to hurt others and ourselves. Your ex needs a wall of Gods protection around him. That man's heart mind & soul need to be protected from evil's influence. Pray for him. God's children, saved and even unsaved, are walking talking targets for the enemy. The enemy is using your ex to hurt you, and when your ex realizes what he's done, he will have to deal with the guilt. Try your best not to return the evil.
Keep praying for your self too. May your ex's words be like water being shed off of a ducks back. May the things he says & does not hurt you and that you have a peace from God that passes all understanding.
Don't forget you families too, that they don't get caught in the crossfire. And if they have been hurt, that they heal quickly.

Remember Job? He is my hero. Whenever I get depressed or something negative comes into my life, I ask God for the strength He knows I need to deal with the situation,start calling myself Jobetta, take a deep breath and tell myself I must keep going and God does not like ugly. He will take care of the negative forces in your life. If Job could do it, you can do it because you are a woman and you are strong.

I look at all the things I would have without God, and I praise and thank him for everything that he has blessed me with even if all I have are the clothing on my back, I still have my life and my God.

I think about all I have and how little most people have. I think about how well fed I am, and how little food most people get. I also think about how fortunate I am to live in a country where I am free to worship any way I choose. Most people do not have that freedom.
For me, that put's things back into perspective.

i pray to Him and ask Him to help me be stronger and not to give up on my faith.. Whenever life gets tough, don't ever give up.. because we will really face those no matter what.. it's just challenges for us so hold on..God bless =))

When you pray to God,asking anything in his name,leave it at the thrown.Don't pick it back up,like keeping it on your mind,this is called worry,and doubt,along with taking it back from the hands of the Lord and this causes God not to be able to let his will be done in concerning this issue that is facing you with your ex.The word says "That when two or more come together asking in the name of Jesus it shall be DONE!Trust in that saying of the Lord,along with remembering that God does not want us in pain and suffering,but we live in this carnal flesh and sometimes we find ourselves operating in our fleshy manner.Faith is a substance of believing in the unknown and the things that we do not see,we are to operate by our spirit that is with in us.Therefore the bible plainly tells us to rebuke the evil that is around us.When you pray and bind a spirit,then you must turn around an loosen the spirit to overcome what you bound from your situation.I will be in agreement and i will pray for you now.
Heavenly Father,we come to you in the name of your dear precious son Jesus,asking for peace to this household,we ask Lord that whatever is harassing that it be ceased immediately,we bind the tormenting spirit that is trying to attack our sister in christ Jesus,and we loosen the spirit of peace that passes all understanding,I bind the spirit of fear and of a confused mind,for your word says"That God did not give us the spirit of fear,but of Power,Love and a sound mind.We claim that scripture right now in the Name of Jesus! you just have to know he (God) is not going to put you through anything you can't handle and is he brought to it he'll bring you through it, and finally he's putting through because on the other side of this is a blessing that no one can stop
