Why should they be permitted to over react to the N word if another race says it and yet use it regularly themselves? It seems rather racist.

The guy will be so nice and sweet at the beginning. He'll brag about me to all his friends, we'll go nice places and do fun things. We completely bond on all levels. My friends like him, my family likes him. After 2 years, he proposes and tells me that I'm the one he wants for life. During the 4th year, he starts getting sloppy, forgets important things, he starts using me for money, he doesn't appreciate me like he used to. At this point I'm so emotionally involved that I don't know how to end the relationship. It's a messy breakup with tears and heartache and I'm left feeling used and torn up.

I've been in 2 relationships like this. I'm so glad I didn't marry them! Both times I thought I met the man of my dreams and they turned out to be losers. I have some female friends who went through similar things. Where are all the good guys out there? These good-guy-wanna-be losers are make the genuine guys look bad! I'm so tired of being hurt!

i like my good guy friend. i have decided that i am going to tell him. but i dont know how? i have it narrowed down to 3 ways.
one way is to tell him in person at school (nervous) second way is to tell him in a note either at school or at work. i will either tape it to the inside windsheild or if the door is locked, tape it on the gas door. that when the door opens it will say his name. what is the best way? Any other ideas are welcome. thanks

I'm having my wedding in Jamaica-I'd like it to be on the beach, but I still want it to be formal.I'ts in August, so it will be pretty hot. Couple of questions-

1. What should I have the guys wear? I want them to be comfortable, but I'd ultimately like them to be tuxes.
2. I'm thinking about going formal, but not having anyone wear shoes. What do you think?

Here are the dresses I am looking at...

I need a little help. My b/f and I have been together for 6 months now and are doing great. Just before we got together my ex and I were sort of messing around(not dating) and we stopped everything when we got together. Every since my b/f and I got together my ex has been hanging around and making us miserable. My b/f hates him and my ex just won't get the message and go away. I'm afraid that my b/f is going to do something stupid if he doesn't go away. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of him?

Do you think that our generation has the ability to reduce the divorce rate or do you think divorce has become such a common and accepted thing that will continue to happen?

My girlfriend of 2 years, who i also live with has started to talk about the coming holidays and what are plans are going to be. Both of us have parents who are divorced and have re-married, so there are 4 sets of parents between the 2 of us. Also, i got bcak from a year in iraq a couple months ago and because i was over there, i wasnt able to spend the holidays with my family. Now, she wants to split the holidays, my fam for thanksgiving (mainly because her parents have other plans no including her) and then xmas with her family. None of the familys live in the same state but close enough to drive. My problem with this is, I want to spend the holidays with my family. Is it mean to tell her maybe we could split for the day so she can go to her family(s) and i can stay with mine. I like her family alot but I wanst around for thanksgiving and xmas last year and I really want to spend the time with my family.

we were together for several years and we lived together. Now that we moved out, we have decided to take a break from each other and date other people. She says that she does really love me, but she wants to make sure that this is whats right for her. We decided to cut off contact w/ each other for a couple weeks, but its so hard for me not to call. I miss her so much, and i just want her back. I dont want to seem needy or desperate, so im not going to call. Its just i cant get her out of my mind. What can i do? We both agree that we dont want eachother to get into serious relationships, and i know she really does love me. I guess im just one of those guys that cares so much, and is nothing but nice. By changing this and not calling or visiting, will this help me and make her want me? Thanks...

I am the luckest man alive for I am in love with a beautiful girl that loves me right back. We have been man and wife for many years now. And yet some how old ghosts still come back from the dead to say hello in my sleep and in my walking day dreams. Is there a way to put that first love to rest?
