I dated this guy when i was about 13 shortly after meeting him, he was my first love, but things ended up not working out, as we were so young. About a year on i dated this guy for about 5 months but it ended because i didn't love him. However, now that i've left him i feel more lonely. Since the split, it's been harder to hang out with our mutual friends and i find myself spending more time alone. My recent ex says that he still loves me and hopes we can try again in a while. I've told him i can't just now and not to hold on but he's not listening and is still flirting and everything. It's a few years on from splitting from my 'first love' but in these past years i have just grown to love him more than any other guy, i've never felt this way about anyone. He has now asked me out on a date, and i want to, but everyone keeps telling me i should get back with my more recent ex and i feel pressured, because everyone says he will be too upset if i go with this guy and i'm so confused!!

He's been looking forward to us having sex, he was always all over me. We finally had sex but why is it he suddenly lost the interest to have sex again? My wife died last year as a result of alcoholism. She was only 37 years of age, 13 years younger than me. I understood her reasons for drinking. She was sexually abused by her father when she was young and always took pills, smoked canabis or drank to block everything out. I helped her in every way I could, but was never even with the help of professionals able to stop her drinking. She died a horrible death in hospital and her final words to me as I cradled her in my arms was, "Help me". Her death tore me apart and I thought I would never get over it.

I have now met somebody else, but feel so guilty for even speaking to another woman, let alone having a relationship with her. Although she is dead, I still feel my wifes presence, it's as though she is still with me and I don't think I will be able to commit myself fully to my new girlfriend. Should I try and make the relationship with my new girfriend work or do I just need more time ????

My relationship ended with my ex-boyfriend but both of still kept each other on our msn list. He was the one who ended it but after he would still contact me via msn. He has stopped saying hi to me on msn, but now, whenever I log in msn, he puts a picture up. No it's NOT pics of him or girls, just randoms pics. It's just weird because he NEVER has a pic on msn, but as soon as I log in, he puts up a pic. Then once I log off, he takes off the pic and puts it back to the green figure. I know this is insignificant but it's bothering me. I just wish I knew what was ging through his mind when he's doing this and why he's doing it. Why does he even care enough to do this? Yes, I know he doesn't care about me anymore but he he keeps doing this EVERY time I log on msn. Why is he acting sooo weird? Guys if you dumped a girl would you act this way and what does it mean?

And yes I know I asked this already, I just wanna get lots of different opinions:)

My father convenced me to leave my kids in Iowa and move to Arkansas. He left his kids behind in his second marriage. They have nothing to do with him at all. He has been married to my mother under nazi rule for 26 years unable to sneeze without permission, my older brother has been married twice and had three kids, one living with him as he still lives with my dad under his rule. My dad said in time I will forget the pain of loosing my kids, and I will be much happier without them. He said I should be with him the original family. That I will have less stress and less worries than if I were still living in Iowa near my kids and under my ex-wifes rule. Is he right? or is he Satan in disguise?

Reason I ask is because of another question that stated this. We all know women like confidence in men but is the reverse really true? I mean afterall why then would so many successful women say they have trouble finding men while at the same time guys pack movies to see their fav action heros rescue the helpless damsel in distress. I put forward that "some" guys may like confident women but for the majority of guys it is at best a non-factor and at worse a turn-off. Then again I could be wrong. Opinions?

I'm going to be near the same town as she lives in visiting a friend. I was asked recently by a Psychologist friend of mine, "I know you've been through a rough time with this Seperation, but if today was your last day to live what would you want to do?"
I didn't have an answer, at first. But then later on I figured it out. If
today was my last day to live, I'd want to visit with my ex, and bring her a rose, take her to dinner and just make her feel special and honored. I'd want to be the romantic guy I never was for her, if it was my last day to live. So what do you guys think?

I find it odd the different types of fighting and making up process. I have 2 teenagers at home, one boy and one girl. They boy got into a fist fight, there were no other options apparently. But after the boys beat the crap out of each other they're best friends, and it's over... done... finito... only to be discussed when laughing about the black eyes they received and the broken finger. Where as girls, they battle it out by stabbing each other in the back pretending they're the best of friends after the fight is over. I'm thinking the girls have it all wrong. Why are we so different?
