I'm going to be near the same town as she lives in visiting a friend. I was asked recently by a Psychologist friend of mine, "I know you've been through a rough time with this Seperation, but if today was your last day to live what would you want to do?"
I didn't have an answer, at first. But then later on I figured it out. If
today was my last day to live, I'd want to visit with my ex, and bring her a rose, take her to dinner and just make her feel special and honored. I'd want to be the romantic guy I never was for her, if it was my last day to live. So what do you guys think?

She may not be receptive. If you do manage to get her to talk to you, I'd tell her what you've just said.

I think that sounds lovely... but if she has a new boyfriend, it might not go down very well. Good luck though.

i would go see her.
and try to make her happy.
and see how you've changed.

maybe just maybe after a while things can work out again.
