Not financially independent, but emotionally. It's like her entire well-being, happiness and sense of self-worth is being delegated to me. Am I being unreasonable in my expectations here? Has anybody ever divorced somebody like this and then later regretted it? My fears are if I try to leave, she will try and kill herself or something, or worse, be so dependent on a man, any man, that she gets involved with some pervert loser who is a threat to my daughter. My kids are 13 and 11 and I have contemplated staying only until the nest is empty. Has anybody been in this situation? If so, what did you do?

Ok- I met someone and in the 3 weeks that we have been talking, we have been talking every day. He calls me on my way to work every single morning, and usually on his way home at night. I met up with him this weekend, and we spent the night together (no sex). Since then I haven't heard a word from him. Waht could the explanation for this be? Did I do something wrong?

Me and this guy have been talkin now for like (9 months) for the most part things between us have been real cool and all but lately we been at each others throats we could be sittin a around hanging out having a good time then someone could say something and one of us would get affended. Then we would start arguging and cuss each other out. And end up not talking to each other for weeks. I really this guy and i know he likes me too and all but how am i suppose to feel about him now if all we do now is argue. I need some advice on this ladies so can ya'll help a sista out.

righto guys, erm its not easy,but i need to know how i can start to change my ways when i get into a argument with my girlfriend, every single time, i try so hard to relax and think before i speak, i have something called dyspraxia, which means what my head says, can sometimes be different to what i say or write down (along with a bunch of other stuff thats irrelevant)everytime we argue, i guilt trip her, i'm not proud, nor do i do it intentionally, i need to stop doing it, its ripping her up, i feel awful about it, i love her with all of my heart, and she loves me, but the arguments,usually over petty things, esculate because i guilt trip her, without realising, and rightfully so its starting to annoy her, how in the hell do i sort this out, i hate myself for it because its ripping her apart, and us, i trust her i love her, everything else in our relationship is amazing, its jus when we have a misunderstanding, i read it wrongly, guilt trip her and what not, how do i stop it?thanks

This girl i hav been txten for a while is always txten me at 1,2 and 3 in the mornin and tellin me she is drunk. I talk to her alot and recently she has been doin this thing where she is sayin that she is not hot or that she is odd, generaly puttin herself down.

I met this guy last week at a party. We flirted and even kissed. We also exchanged numbers. The next day I sent him quick facebook message saying it was nice meeting him and we should hang out again sometime. He replied by saying he had fun too and if I wanted to get together over the weekend he did too. So, one of my friends invited him to a party I was at this weekend. We talked and flirted again. I ended up goin home with him. We fooled around but no sex. I told him right off the bat tha I wasn't going to have sex and he respected that completely. The next morning we just laid around and talked. He drove me home later. So, now I am wondering whats next. He is really cool and I'd like to hang out with him again but I don't want to get too serious too quickly. I am going to wait a couple days before I contact him. What should I say and what is the next move?

So i love this girl from work, and she said she's loved me even longer, but she just got out of a bad relationship. i have spent hours upon hours talkin to her, and we get really close. One night she fell asleep on me for half an hour. then when she woke up, we just kept talking some more.

So i asked her if she wanted to be more than friends, and she said she just wasnt quite sure yet, cuz its only been 2 weeks since her break-up, but i know she likes me. everytime we hug (which is a lot) her head is just right there on my shoulder, and i REALLY just want to kiss her, even a peck on the cheek, but she said 'just friends' for now.

would it be wrong to kiss her?

Hi ppl,

Just find it's hard to mend a broken heart.Although there are new guys around whom I admire.But,my heart has been broken by someone before,and I find it hard to open up for new opportunities.What sld I do ? My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years and resently got engaged. We have never picked a song and now with trying to plan a wedding we need our song for our first dance. did anyone eles have this problem? what did you do? any song suggestions? we can't seem to agree at all so any help would be great. we aare into hip-hop and r&b (if that helps) but are not limited to it.
