My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years and resently got engaged. We have never picked a song and now with trying to plan a wedding we need our song for our first dance. did anyone eles have this problem? what did you do? any song suggestions? we can't seem to agree at all so any help would be great. we aare into hip-hop and r&b (if that helps) but are not limited to it. I'm just fesh out of ideas. thanx

I had the same problem too. Also, I didn't want to go with the typical cookie cutter song that all couples seem to pick now days. We ended up going with "Love Song" by 311 (originally done by The Cure), it was a little more up beat than the typical wedding song. I would just do whatever works for you, even if it isn't your typical song. You want to dance to a hip-hop song (and your wedding dress allows you to do it), create a little dance for yourselves and go for it. It will definitely be more entertaining for your guests than the usually 3-5 minutes snooze fest.

My husband and I had the same problem for our wedding we ended up with Aerosmith's "don't want to miss a thing" from the movie Armageddon...it worked well to our wedding
