What is the shortest marriage you know of. I was at one that lasted 11.5 hours. A girl I had known closely for a very long time got married for the third time. I attended the civil ceremony at 2pm and a party followed at a friends house and everybody got very drunk. At 1:30 am when time to go home the bride and I wrapped our arms around each other and passionately kissed. Her husband went berserk and called her the vilest of names and would have hit her if others hadn't stopped him and threw him out of the house. He spent the night at a motel and she stayed at the friends house. Marriage over

My husband and I are going to try it. We have been together for 22yrs. We have 3 beautiful children together. The separation was his choice. I was totally shocked and devistated when he left. He was a wonderful husband and great father. I feel as though the couseling will be our only hope for a future together.

It seems like everytime I try and help him my big a$s mouth says something that isn't what I really meant to say and it makes matters worse. My fiance I should say has his own business in selling home theater equipment and he works alone and he has been struggling so much so that he quiting in the middle of the day to go home and drink. He is very testy with me because of this and all I want to do is help him but I can't when he is acting out at me because of the problems at work, how can I help him. He definately does not want to drink he tells me but he says that it is the only way he knows how to relax so he don't go off the deep end. he is very sincere and I truly belive that he wants help but he will not go to a doctor or anything like that . what kind of advice can I give to him to help us both out. I assure him that I am here for him and he says he knows this but he don't think I understand what he is going through and i want to point him in a better direction.Please help me out

my mother does not like my boyfriend at all, she told me that she hates him. I try and ask her why she don't like him and why she always disrespecting him. it got so bad to the point when we almost broke up because of her. 4 years it been nothing but hell with her and she still acts like that towards him. We are about to have our first child and I dont want her to be acting like that when are child is growing up, and not only that I don't want her to brainwash our child by making her not like her own father. ok..seriously need new family and friends...lol...my cousin has been with this guy for 10 years...when he had probs with his parents, she's the one who patched things up by leting him stay with her and going to the parents to see if they could talk and work things out, it did. after that dude decided to become a freaking drug addict, cocaine, why? i have no ******* clue! well she helped him through counceling and all that stuff, helped him go to NA and see a therapist, that worked out. after that dude became a ******* alcoholic! my cousin "caught" it on time and he's been sober for 5 years now...now last week he goes to my cousin saying that he cheated on her with his best friend whom is a girl and that was going on for a month but it's over he wants to work stuff out with her. let me tell you, she is emotionally tired from this dude, she does love him but enough it enough! his and her family ispressuing her to stay with him and get counseling together so they can get married,
