Its been 2 years since I have had a friend apart from my sister in law or hubby. I'm a stay at home mom of a 17 month old and I am pretty busy but I would like to make some friends who have kids my sons age. I'm really shy and I'm nervous about going out to meet new people because its been so long. My husband tries to get me to be friends with his friends wives but none of them have kids and they still drink and stuff. I'm scared to meet new people because I don't know what I would talk about apart from my son. I don't go out all that much. I'd really like to go out sometimes and do stuff with a friend my own age who has kids. Any suggestions?

I put my son down to sleep at 9pm and let him cry himself to sleep. Around midnight, he wakes up and put him in my bed to nurse and falls asleep with us in our bed. But he wakes up occasionally. I'm thinking he is a light sleeper considering I am as well.

I was at the convenient store last night with my girlfriend's sister picking up a few things, then all of a sudden an old friend of mine came up to my car, stumbling drunk. she was going on and on about how wasted she is and how many more beers she had to drink before arriving at her boyfriend's house a few miles down the road. all she kept saying was "what time is it? it's time to get ill!" making an absolute fool of herself. she then went on about random stupid things. my girlfriend's sister got out of the car, to just catch up with old times, by her car, then came back into mine shortly. we said bye and took off, then my girl's sis called the police saying there's a girl driving drunk around this part of town. i talked to a friend of mine at work the next day who is also friends with her and told me i was "f'ed up" for doing that. he doesn't understand that a close friend of mine died drunk driving about 2 months ago. am i or is she an "ahole" for doing that?

I hate jeans that have a long zipper,fly or crotch. I dont want somthing that looks like it was for a 20 year old either, just a nice jean. I dont care about price, I need jeans that are low riders, also ones that will fit someone who is five ten.

First of all, I'm not. I was talking to one of our mutual friends, and he told me that he was telling everyone that I wanted to sleep with him. How can I get this guy to stop spreading rumors about me/us, when in actuallity, there is no us. I don't want to get violent, but I can't think of anything else to do. Do you ever feel that due to things like your spouses job, you feel like your alone in your marriage and raising your famliy? Even when the spouse is home they have their own agenda and it dosen't seem to mesh with yours. Does anyone else feel this way?
