My father has been trying to locate her for a while now but is not really computer savy. She was living in Phoenix in 1961-1962 and was to be married to a man in the military there, any lead at all will be greatly appreaciated. She would be in her 60's now.

I have fantasized my whole life of being with a man but I never really have been, I chickened out one time when I was younger and I tried another time but didn't have lube and it hurt too much. I really want to be with another man and I'm 30 now and it seems like impossible to fulfill this fantasy. I have been with plenty of women but nobody has ever did me yet? I am not a top person I would only recieve it. But I am very discreat and am scared to go to a gay bar in fear someone would see me. Any advise, I dont want go my whole life living this fantasy, I want to fulfill it and see if I like it. I am not picky I just dont want anyone with deseases, I am a good looking man, and cant seem how to hook up with another man for a one night stand and possibly more. Like I said it would just be an experiment to see if I like it.

People are far more receptive to controversial/offencive questions, or those having to do with dating/sex, than those about culture, history, or science. Why is this? Does everyone on this site have an IQ lower than 70? Is it a requirement or something?

I put this question under singles/dating because it's the only way I'm going to get some answers!!!

According to Reuters, today is the day...........Read on:

*QUOTE - Well, today is the day couples are most likely to have an argument, according to a relationship expert.

The theory is that post-holiday blues combined with the end of the summer and no more bank holidays until Christmas conspire together to make August 30 the day tempers will fray.

Paula Hall, a sexual and relationship psychotherapist, said the arguments can be explained by a simple equation: Post-Holiday Depression + Financial Strains - Lack of Light/Domestic Chaos = Relationship Stress.

"By August 30, tensions have reached an all time high, as couples realise their summer is well and truly over," Hall said.

"This often manifests itself in bickering and needless arguments which is not healthy for the well-being of a relationship."*UNQUOTE

What do you think?
Is it all a load of tosh, or do you actually think it has some truth to it?

I let my 32 year old sister live with me. Soon afterwards she moved her boyfriend in and got a dog that peed everywhere. She wasn't paying bills and wasn't even on my rental agreement, so due to stupid CA laws I had to give her 30 days to leave. She left the day before her 30 days were up. I realized she had stolen several items from me my new backpack, computer router, dvd's dvd rack etc... Well I came across her ebay account and noticed that she sold the Magic Mountain tickets that had dissapeared from my house and some of my dvd's. I want to press charges, but I keep hearing that it may be considered a civil matter were I'll have to take her to court and I feel like it's such a hassle. What should I do? What would you do? I've already placed a complant with ebay!

Dark hair or light?

And for my own question: is being very short a turn off? I get teased a lot for it by, well, everyone. Say around 5''.

Lately he's been approaching the subject of me moving there to be with him and settling down. Im open to the idea but that would mean leaving my family here. Any suggestions?

My ex broke up with me a year ago but has continued calling and wanting to know what is going on with my life.
Why does my ex still call me and want to see me if he broke up with me after I moved away to college? Should I act like I don't need him even though I miss him so much and love him more than anyone. I don't know how to act and why does he still keep in contact. He tells me "he wants to know what is going on in my life?!?!" its beeen 2 years since he broke it off b/c he could handle long distance when I moved away to college and he is 7 years older(20 vs. 27).

Where is the line drawn between acting friendly and flirting? And since when did laughing at jokes and having a sense of humor count as flirting?

Please help. My friends say that I "string along" guys. I myself have also noticed that most of my male companions have thought that I had a crush on them, and so tried to "date" me when we first met. It's really awkward to be so misunderstood. I just want some normal guy friends who I can joke with and confide in, as I do with my female friends; is this too much to ask? I'm asking this now because I have just moved to a new area recently, and I don't want to keep repeating the same mistake (though it may be already too late to avoid...).

And meanwhile, while we're on the subject, how do you tell someone that you just want to be friends in a nice and non-awkward way?
