We have been together five years. He has two children, I have two and one together. He is a great provider for all of us. My problem is he is not very affectionate. In the bedroom he is great but other than that nothing. I come from a family that hugs and tells each other we love you all the time. He will never offer to hug or kiss me I have to do it or aske for a hug. He said he loves me but he is just not a mushy person. How can giving someone a hug be mushy. He never tells me he loves me. We have absolutely no romance in our relationship. He works nights and I work days so he is home when the kdis get out of school so we dont have to pay daycare. I get home at 5:40 pm and he walks out as soon as I am home. He gets home at 6 am when i am up getting the kids ready for school. I feel like I am taken for granted. He feels that I dont need the little things that matter. I am not a materialistic person. A hug or a kiss would completly shut me up. How do I handle this.help

I'm in the military, currently deployed in Iraq and soon returning to my duty station in Guam. I'm going thru a divorce & just want what is best for my daughter. I know my daughter loves her mother very much and vice versa. I have been gone from her for almost 18 months, so my daughter only gets to hear my voice on the phone and see me in pictures. I don't want to take her away from her mother but I feel that love isn't enough to take care of her. She has no job, has a son that I am providing for, even if I gave her the house, she could not pay the mortgage even with 1/6 of my basic pay as child support. I offered to let her live in the house free of rent vice child support so our daughter, her son, & her could have a place to live that they already call home. I'm stationed overseas & my Command is willing to work with me if I was to get sole custody. She has a track record for making horrible decisions, including bringing a drug dealer to my home while I was deployed in the Iraq 05.

I am dating a very sweet, respectful guy. We just celeberated our one month anniversary. B/c it's only been one month, I decided to make him a small, home made (personalized) card, as a nice gesture for the occassion. He did not give me a card or anything but did take me out and pay for a nice dinner. I do not mind NOT getting anything from him--as he did pay for dinner and it's only been one month. However, some of my friends are telling me that he should have given me something (i.e. a card or gift or flowers etc). I would think that for more important milestones, my guy would actually do something, therefore I do not feel the need to make a scene over a month anniversary. Any thoughts on this scenario? Are my friends being overly critical or should I say something to my guy?

P.S. I already asked this question before, but am looking for more opinions.

There is a guy named Matt. I've known him since 5th grade (I'm going into 9th now). I talked to him everyday in 5th grade. I never had classes with him in 6th. In 7th I talked to him almost everyday. And in 8th he was the only person I talked to in my science class! In Dec or so of 8th grade a kinda started to get real feelings for him. I told my closest friend, Kathleen. I talked about him for like month, but then one day when I didn't talk about him Kathleen said this, "I think I like Matt. And we have this vibe and connection. I know he likes me, he is always looking at me in math." I didn't say anything! I was so shocked she would do this! So I tried not to like him, while she tried flirting with him. Then after a while she decided she didn't like him anymore. I never talked bout him again. But I just saw him a week ago and I can't get him out of my mind! I really like him now! And I told Kathleen this and she told me about their "vibe and connection" again. What do I do! Thanks!

I asked yahooo Customer service for help with this issue. Sellers must submit valid drivers licence, address, phone number, social security number or birth certificate for identity verification. No problem. But I don't know where to submit it. The help page that they gave me does not say where I should send the materials for identity verification. Does anyone know the process? Is it submitted online or is there a physical address that verification materials should be sent? I want to make some extra money to buy some nice things for that special one in my life. Selling things via an online venue like yahoo is a good way to do that. So this is a relationship question in a round about way.

Recently, i had a fallout with my boyfriend, and i almost felt a sense of relief when it happened, because i knew he wouldn't be clinging to me all the time. But all mine and his friends(which are mostly the same,as we all hang in the same friend group) told me how upset he was, and urged us to make up. Basically, he blanked me without so much as a hello for a whole day, and admitted that he only came over to say sorry because my mate told him too. But then he said he really loved me and had been such an idiot and begged for another chance, although that's not the only problem.I was feeling pressured by our friends aswell, so i reluctantly agreed. So my ex has been helping me through it all, he's been there for me every minute of the day, but he told me last night that he's confused!Apparently about me?!He's the only guy i ever really loved, but i'm scared things wouldn't work out again, although we have both grown alot since our split a few years ago. I'm so confused!!
