Sometimes men are able to hide their emotions better than women. Women tend to where their hearts on their sleeve. Trust me their hurting. Men tend to be more focused and one track. Men seem to be able to let go a little easier than woman.
We tend to hold one to things longer than the guys do.

No it's not only girls, some guys deal with break ups differently. Where as a girl will show open emotion some guys will pretend it does not bother them, but when they are alone they will express how they feel in private.
Don't be deceived, when a girl breaks up with a guy, some of them don't handle it well at all and that's why you hear stories about murder/suicide and all sort of craziness. It's a serious thing, the best way to deal with a break up is just forgive and move on with your life.

In my opinion that's not very true. I've been heart broken but I immediately went on with my life without wallowing about something like that. At times the guy may take it harder than the girl. It's pretty much depends on the person. It takes someone who is very emotional and sensitive for that to happen. That pretty much why I didn't become depress after my break up. I'm not close to sensitive and no where near emotional. If I were to express an emotion it would be one of anger or happiness. Relief even.

It doesn't matter who you are when you aren't the one who broke up there is a feeling of rejection no matter how good or bad the relationship was.
However if the person who didn't initiate the break up cares or is in love for the other person it of course it is even more heart wrenching.
Males have simply been raised for the most part with the idea that showing emotion isn't manly and encuraged to hide their feelings. Females however are told that women are emotional and encuraged to emote.
SO when men go through a painful break up they hide it as best they can.
My last boyfriend was the perfect example. I didn't think he cared about me when we were dating and I didn't realize how much me breaking up with him hurt him until long after the fact.
Because as his ex-girlfriend, I was the last person he wanted to have see how hurt he truely was.

Even though girls are sensitive after breaking up... there are some guys that are just as sensitive because they didnt want to break up with their partner in the first place, or sometimes felt like they were forced to end their relationship in order to make their partner understand what they were doing wrong, or what didnt make them feel loved.

And about the "wanting to die" part, its because you feel that you've lost the most important thing in your life, your heart seems like its literally torn in two, and you feel like you have no meaning on earth anymore. And guys can feel this way too...

well that's the thing, it depends on who broke up with who. I mean guys get really upset when a girl breaks up with them. Unless that girl didn't really mean much to him. But well you have to realize that guys psychologically can't cry in public, or they just tear up. So well when that guy gets home, he could be in his room crying his eyes out. You'll never ever see a guy show his emotions easily. Some guys do, but most don't. But well guys get hurt when relationships end as well. But well girls are known to be open with their feelings and not be afraid to cry, which is why they eventually get over the break up much better than the guy does, because the guy will just keep all his emotions stored up, and never ever talk it out with anybody. So they will of course have a harder time getting over the break up.

And well of course because of all this stored up emotions, suicide is a high risk in their minds. If they don't know how to talk it out, and work things out with themselves, then they will resort to suicidal thoughts and actions. So believe me guys have the same effect that girls do, and in most cases alot worse. You just will never hear a guy tell you that, because we don't like to admit to these things so easily

Guys get hurt just as girls do. No need to die, lots of other people out there.

that is noyt always true. men general do not like anyone too know that they are ( SAD , HURT , OR LET A WOMEN BREAK THEIR HEART).
i have broke up with women before because i knew that it just wasnt going to work but there was a part of that person that i missed and i did cry.

but most generally the first one that decides to break it off hurts the other one becuase it usually comes as a surprise.
but this does go both ways.
live well laugh much love often

Because girls put more of their heart into the relationship than boys. Girls are all or nothing and guys always hold back, so they are never as hurt as the girl.
