My girlfriend has a friend that she is fairly close to, in terms of their friendship, but also in proximity to where we live. This girl not only copies everything that I do, my clothes, hair, etc, she is an annoying third wheel. She calls to get together all the time, and has no boundaries. I get the feeling she wants me out of the picture so that she and my girlfriend can have a long happy life together. I have tried to be honest with this girl, stating that we want along time, or I am taking her out for a special dinner, and then guess who shows up or calls. It's almost disrespectful. How can I get rid of this person from our lives, without having to tell my girlfriend that I hate her friend? It's become now a constant source of annoyance for me. She has never been in a relationship, and I don't feel jealous per say, its more that this person can't understand that she is the ultimate definition of a third wheel. She is intruding on my life and my relationship.

I've been dating this girl for about two years. I'm 16, she's 17. We have a lot in common. We were both being raised by single parents. My dad died and her mom ran off when she was a little girl. Our parents have been dating each other and decided to get married. My girlfriend and I talked about how weird its going to be that we're gonna be step-siblings. I know I have to forgive my ex for lying, cheating and deceiving me because we have an eight year old son to raise together. And it hurts and I have to let it go and move on. But what about the other woman? Do I have to forgive her? If she and my ex become serious and she becomes a part of my son's life I would never bad mouth her or attempt to interfere. But is it okay to not forgive her? Is it possible? Right now I limit my contact with my ex - I only talk to him about our son and I use email when I can. I do not want anything to do with her - is that possible?

He's what i call the seasonal dad.when it's a holiday he'll call more and come to see him.But when it's not a hoilday like the summer, he'll call mabey every month and a half.My question is do i call him out on it that he's being a deadbeat or should i say nothing and just be thankful he tries at all?

This question is more for men than women, (but women are free to answer as well). Situation: you want to be with your first love & haven't seen that person for 4 years. She got married b/c you were not ready, she was immature, & she did not know what she wanted in life. You're aware she has children & accept that. She gets a divorce, both you & her start talking but do not see her in person. She matured & now knows what she wants in life. Finally, you plan to see her but she is not as thin as you remembered. She gained some weight, (about thirty pounds because of the pregnancies she had). You still feel love for her but she has "some" weight on her. What are your thoughts about her now when you see her? Do you still love her & feel as strong or do you not feel any connection w/ her anymore because she is fat? You know she will eventually lose the weight. Do men love out of personality & intelligence or do men love out of attraction as well? Does attraction, (sexiness) make a big deal?

Last night we were cuddling, and he was telling me how much he cared and how amazing i was to him. all of a sudden he just blurted out "i totally love you"

there was some silence, i just cuddled up next to him and he said that he could not believe he just said that, and he laughed nervously.

since i am a smartass, I wanted to lighten the mood so i playfully hit him in the shoulder and said "i love you too man" in a hippie stoney voice..hehe

i love him for 17 years & he loved me back. we always had a problem getting with each other due to others. we finaly get with each other,we lived together for 11months, i left due to family (his side)started things between us.i left 2 days before his birthday,talk to him that day, he died 2 days later on my son's birthday. i can't get it out of my mind & can't stop crying. family wouldn't let me go to service, they all think it's my fault. i would never do anything to hurt him.

A couple of weeks ago me, my mom, my sister, and my friend all went to the high school to get my schedule changed and when we were called to the office we sat down and there was a really popular boy in there...he was a skater and alot of people knew him. And when my name was called I got up and went into the room by myself and left my mom, my friend, my sister, and the boy sitting alone in the office. When I came out my mom had her shoes off and my little sister who is 2 was wearing them and my mom was standing barefoot and the boy was laughing. Don't you think that that was embarassing. Don't you think that he was laughing because he probably thought I was a loser. He was also really mean to me in middle school so I wouldn't be surprised. But he did seem alot different from then.
