Tell my boyfriend of 4 months that I love him? I it too soon? Is it the right time? We are both in our 20's and I KNOW in my heart that I really do love him. Should I wait? What would you do?

If you feel it, share it with him. Just brace yourself because he may or may not respond the way you hope. If he says that he loves you too. Good...just make sure that his actions reflect love. If he seems stunned and doesn't say anything, just give him some time and see if you are on the same page. If he says in response that he likes you a lot, he's not feeling you the way that you are feeling him. Four months is a very short time span. Anything could still happen. He probably feels the same and is also scared to say those magic three words. I would suggest talking with him and saying something like this. These past few months have been wonderful. They way you treat me makes me feel so special. My heart is telling me things and I am a little scared to tell you that ..... (long pause), but I think I am falling in love with you.
This way you still leave a little wiggle room for him to respond. I am falling is not as a heavy load as I LOVE YOU !!
If he responds the way you want him to then you can say it. If not, then you can both decide on where the relationship should go.

Watch for clues from him to see if he feels the same way. Find a special place and share this with him with no expectation of the same affirmation in return. Because he may not yet feel the same way. That way, if he is not ready to say the same thing you won't be disappointed if he does not state that.
But if he does feel that way, it will be a wonderful memory for the two of you!

Do what your heart tells you. If you love him and want him to know tell him. Don't be afraid of expressing your feelings. If he doesn't return the feeling than at least you know and can work on it or move on. It's up to you, but I say follow what your heart says.
