My ex bf and I are each other's first loves. Though today we still love each other dearly, we broke up for a valid reason. I explained to him why I thought that we should part, and though confused, he respected my decision, and we remained good friends with the mutual hope that we'd get back together. Fast forward one year. I'm a medical student about to enter my 3rd of 5 years and he finished a diploma course in electrical technology.However, he cant land a steady job. He's not considering college. So he migrates to another country, across 3 time zones, and doesn't tell me about it. We didn't have the chance to tell each other bye or anything.He said that he would have really loved the opportunity to marry me one day, but the way how things look, doesn't look like that is going to happen. He tells me to keep the faith, but I can't help crying and thinking that I blew a chance at the love of my life.should I move on and invite others into my life, or keep the faith he says to have?

I am dating this girl that I met. She seemed fantastic and all my friends liked her. She was really shy about being intimate but I decided to be patient since I cared. One night I couldn't take it, she was rimming me and I wanted to please her so I told her I would go down on her. I think this is one of the reasons the divorce rate in the US is so out of control. People love the idea of being married, but don't realize that it takes so much work and planning. They stress out about the flowers, the dress, and on and on...yet often fail to realize they should really be preparing for the huge commitment they are about to make. I would be willing to bet that most engaged couples have no idea how they should even begin to plan or prepare for their marriage.
