I dated a guy shorter than me but this was a long time ago. I guess when I look back I wasn't that happy because he was shorter than me. I need a guy who is taller or as tall as me.
Guys are the masculine breed: they are the strong ones of the relationship. An antiquated answer I'm thinking, but that's how I see it.
As for marriage, no - I would never marry a short man.

first of all, im 6' 2" so the whole dating a girl taller than me isnt very likely but in any event if i were interested in a girl and she happened to be 6'5" there is nothing wrong with it, nobody gets to choose how tall they are, and if you care about the person why should height matter? dont sweat the small details and trust me height is a very very small detail in the grand scheme of things...and no, i wouldnt have a problem marrying someone taller than me or shorter than me, like i said its really a non-issue with me

Well I'm a tall girl. Six feet to be exact and I've always hated being this tall. Tall guys never want to date tall girls because they are already to preoccupied with shorter girls and the shorter guys are always too scared to date taller girls. I would date guys that are shorter. I have. I just prefer taller guys. Its like social wiring. No one told me that it wasn't right to date shorter guys..I just picked that up somewhere.

My God, I was never one to notice height. I have friends with whom height is a deal breaker!
I can honestly say that Joey is 6'2" or so...might even be taller and Chris was 5'8"....our bodies seemed to match up the same......go figure, still don't have that one figured out!
As long as a guy doesn't care if I am taller in heels then I don't care.......I wear heels all the time and I am 5'6".....so I usually appear 5'10" or so.
The main thing to me is how it feels to hug the person....has to feel perfect.........then the kiss!

I think that is it not right to judge a person by their height, and that shouldn't make a difference if you wanted to date somebody. However, I would probably not date someone shorter than me. I think that It would feel to akward.I had a boyfriend before who was my exact height, and I still didn't like that. When I am going out with somebody, I think of them as my "Protector" and when they are all shrimpy looking, then it's kinda hard to be at ease.

I am bisexual and have dated men and women ranging from 4'7 to 7'1. I have found no correlation between height and suitability as a partner either in marriage or for a one-night stand. In my experience, short men are really sweet once you get past the part where they need to prove their manliness. Tall guys are nice but sometimes a little overprotective.

A guy should be taller or atleast the same height as you. Reason being, it looks nice that way.

My boyfriend is shorter then me.... but then most guys are. He makes a good arm rest..... especially when I wear high shoes :) I think it really shouldn't matter if a guy is shorter then you...... its the personality that matters most.
But I have to admit, if his eyes didn't reach my nose level at least.... I would have trouble finding him attractive.

i ahte to sound so shallow but i would not date a girl taller than me.. i feel like a complete *sshole saying this buti cannot deny how ackward it is to date a girl that is taller than me.. i wish i didnot have this feeling of judgement based on height but i do..i am normally all about judging someone on more than appearence.. but in this case i just feel ackward.. i dont know why..

Well im 6 3" so its diffucult to find a woman taller than me.. so i dont really have a problem.
