well my man is real strong and all the other guys in my year level are scared off him. Like now they dont even tease me playfully much coz they dont wanna get bashed. but the thing is he wouldnt bash them unless there was a reason to do that. so why are they so scared. oh he doesnt go to my skool any more but to a different one coz he does a course now but still they are like this. and he is 16 by the way. even grown ups are scared off him i mean like 30 years olds and plus. seriously. so why dont they see the loving guy i see.

My friend works for a great company. She has recently come on to some hard times in the last few months and just recently had a utilities disaster that is going to cost about $2,000.00 to fix. She called me last night and told me that the other day her boss came up to her and told her the department was going to get together to do a fundraiser for her an was going to see if her company would match whatever they made. Well here is what she is fighting with. She has never been one to ask for charity and she is always willing to help others. But, she does not know how to act, what to say, what to do with this information. She would rather just make it on her own but she appreciates the generosity of the whole company. These fundraising events are usualy pretty lucrative, plus the company match she may not have to out of pocket anything. Help me tell her if you think it would be ok to turn down the help, or just smile and deal and tell me how to tell her how to deal with it.

Ok this happened to my brother but he didn't quite know how to handle it so he asked me. His wife's (of 3yrs) laptop was in the shop so she was using his computer. Later that night as he was messaging me he found a folder on his computer with porn pics of women (mostly girl-girl). Since he and his wife are the only two people who use his computer she obviously put them there. His wife has always been completely straight. He is worried. The thing is his wife always tells my wife their sex life is great and as our wives are best friends I hardly believe she is lying. I told him to just plain talk to his wife but he is afraid that she is going to leave him. What should I do? Should I talk to his wife for him? (I think thats a bad idea.)

I have been with my ptr for 9 months & have lived together for the last 7 mths. My ptr accepted a job that he applied for before we met & the job required he relocate 9 hours away from where we originally lived. Our relationship prior to moving in was great - lots of fun & happy times. Our relationship ended briefly at the beginning of 06 after he moved away but we got back together & I ended up transferring so we could be together. During the last 6 months our relationship has changed (I've lived with a ptr before so understand things change when you start living with a ptr) & my ptr has become argumentative (no matter what I say he always disagrees) & controlling of the $. As I don't have any family/friends here I spend alot of time alone & have lost alot of confidence as my ptr tells me I've changed. I am scared to go spend $ (I work full time and earn great $) or have an opinion. I dont know if I should continue with the relationship or head home cause I feel like it must be me.

Ok. So I met this guy through a friend. He's really nice and we get along well. I only got to hang out with him once. I don't think it is heading anywhere more so because I spoke with him on the phone the other night for over and hour and we had lots to talk about but he started to mention this girl he likes at work and how he isn't sure where it might be headed but he hopes she chooses him over another guy. I am all for being friends with him but then he wants to get together for drinks later this week. I am probably just thinking way to into this but I have no idea if he is interested or just wants to stay friends cause the guy that i met him through thinks otherwise but also doesn't know about the coworker. What do you all think? I don't want to star tto develop feelings if I know it is only going to bea friendship.

She was going through problems and I was discussing with a friend how much we'd like to help...yada, yada, yada. One of the 3 people in the room went to her and told her "oh yeah, they were talking about you. Saying how much they'd like to help and that they love you". He said it sarcasticly (for fun I guess, or to get something started) so she took it as we were bad mouthing her.
Now, she won't talk to me or anyone else that was there and it's causing problems with my husband and his brother (her husband).
She has learned since what really happened but won't budge.
In all actuality, I really could care less if we forgive and forget because she should have trusted me and come to me for answers! But, I want to be the "bigger person" and confront her for my husband and brother-in-law.
My problem...my husband says not to do it because I would be "swallowing my pride" if I went to her, because she was wrong and knows it. Now, I am constantly thinking about it.
Should I confront he?
