Let me tell u my friend just got engaged . and i am so excited for her .so i asked her how did he propose .and she says oh it was so cute .so she says we were at k-mart shopping around and he stops at the jewelry section .he starts looking around and he ask so what ring do u like .and she said i like that one .so they continue to shop .but they go there own ways in the store .so after a short while she sees him in the store he gets on one knee and ask will u marry me . he had baught the ring she liked .and she said yes .that is so cheesy .when she told me i was laughing and she looked kind of serious .am i the only one whos sees something wrong with that .is that normal . i just want to know what do others think about the whole thing

I used to have a friend (a good one, girl) but due to some misunderstandings our friendship came to an end (I hope it's not completely ended). I know that she is going to face a big problem which might jeopardize her life (it may be true or not) but I would like to warn her and also I would like to clear all misunderstandings between her and myself. Last week I ran into an old lover. When we were in college, we casually dated off and on until I found out that he got another woman pregnent. He wanted to continue the relationship with me and even asked me to marry him, but I declined because I felt he should give the other lady a fair chance at building a healthy relationship with him. Even though it was tough, I stepped aside and went on with my life, but I ocassionally thought about him from time to time.

The night before I ran into him I had a wild dream that we were back seeing each other. Early that next morning I spotted him at my neighborhood gas station. What is so ironic about this is that this guy is not even a state resident. He just relocated here last month to look for work. We talked for over an hour and exchanged numbers, he is single again and so am I. I want to talk to him so bad, but I don't want to call him first without a good excuse, because he might think I'm psycho. What should I do? Help!!!

I've been seeing the gf for about 4mths and have up until now been very confident about my 'sexual prowess' having had excellent relationships in the past. From what she says she has enjoyed some spectacular times in past relationships as well and she was highly sexed when I met her. I am very much into foreplay and would happily spend hours licking, fingering, squeezing, caressing... ...and all at the same time and also consider myself to be quite well endowed. She claimed that during penetrative sex I went too fast for her so have slowed down but I very rarely make her orgasm no matter what I do. I think it's because she knows that it means a lot to me that I satisfy her and that it's a mental block. It's hard not to take an 'I don't care' attitude because then I feel selfish but if I do care she'll still worry about having to orgasm. My 16 year old brother is doing illegal activities; drinking & driving..drugs, stealing anything not tied down (gas, money, ect)stealing money from my parents. He crashed a vehicle and my dad bailed him out of court trouble. My problem is I have 2 small kids, and I dont want them exposed to this. My parents pretend they are oblivious to his actions, but speaking up about it causes HUGE fights. They even said that I was the one stealing the money, not him :<(
It hurts reallly bad to for them to overlook this terrible behavior, but my kids are way more important than him. This is not a situation where u sit down with family and TALK it out. My brother is very hateful and cold hearted, and even mentioned hurting (slapping ) my toddler. Can he be legally held responsible for all of this, and can I have him investigated while remaining anonymous? Also, Id like to know if anyone else has been in this situation....where your brother would be better off behind bars, than in society?? Thank

Recently, my husband and I purchased a home. Since we moved into our house, we realize that setting up a budget and sacrificing certain things were necessary. Our friends continue to plan outings that are beyond our budget. I've mentionned it a couple of times that money's tight and we can't do all the things we used to do anymore. We don't want to go out and eat all the time because we have other things we'd rather pay for. This summer is harder than ever. I am unemployed for two months until the school year starts again. I do not get paid for the summer and we're currently living on 1 income. for 2 months.

Our friends don't get it. They continue planning birthdays and outings that make our eyes grow wider and wider. Last time we went out, they planned to go the restaurant, then we landed in a coffee shop where coffee was 10$ and a slice of cake was 15$.

What should we do if they don't get it? We try so hard to go along with all they do , but we just can't afford it anymore.
