Say you were walking along the street and an ok-looking guy asks you for the time or for directions or something. You give him the info and he says 'Thankyou', how much more of a conversation should there be before he asks if you'd like to go for a coffee?
I mean after exchanging names say, how much more would you want to know about him?

There is someone I see after work and I need some kind of idea about what to say or ask BEFORE I can just say 'would you like to go for a coffee sometime?'

My boyfriend and I are on a break...its been a week and half since we spoke/saw one another. There is no other girl for him or guy for me, that is 100% for sure. I have been married for 14 years we have been seperated once for about a year, we are now back together again for 7 years, I care for him, but I can't say I love him like a wife should love a husband. After almost a week of thinking time, he contacted me last night and said he wanted me, said he wanted to see me yet when i questioned what he wanted from me.. he said he didn't know. So it appears that he wants to meet for ????(he said quote "want u") and I guess he wants to figure the rest out afterwards (?). He got upset when I asked if he wanted our relationship to continue and stated he wanted more time-which I told him to take... yet he wants to see me. He asked me why i was 'pushing him'. He has said he loves me but I'm so tired of these games (he states he is not playing games and that is why he needs time to think b/c i say things like that). I do love him. Have i wasted my time on him or should i see him when he wants and state we need to talk and nothing else? I hate to give up on him, I know he has feelings for me and loves me in his own way... yet i keep asking myself - is it enough?
