i went out with a guy for a year and broke up over 3 yrs ago im still madley in love with him and feel hes my soul mate, we had a fling in sep which lasted 4 months but hes know let me know hes getting married after only knowing this girl for 3 months, his wedding is on the 31 dec this year, im dervested and not sure how to deal with this, he keeps inconnact at least once a week and is just the same as he used to be making rude suggestions etc

My fiance's family is JW and they won't come to her wedding reception because it is at my step fathers house and he is a disfellowshipped JW. Since you works are not what determine your salvation then why would they hurt everyone around them to make themselves appear righteous to others? what will not going do for them? for their salvation? What will not going do to my fiance? What do you think God really cares about - whos name is on the deed to the house or that their daughter's heart is torn out and they judge other people to make themselves appear better? Last saturday night, a lot happened. but to sum it up, my dad was drinking and started getting abusive. I'm the one who called the police to try to make it stop and he's been in jail ever since. I feel responsible for him being in jail and i wish i could take it back. i dont know if i should feel sorry or if i did the right thing. Do you have any advice?

He is a great father and a great man, who made a huge mistake!
Things have been GREAT once we started repairing the damage he caused and I have no reason to beleive he's doing anything anymore nor will he. He really wants me to be his wife.

I want an honest answer. I was in a relationship with my ex-boyfriend and we broke up because he cheated on me. I always knew he was cheating on me, but I could never prove it, so I sufferred in silence. but one fatehful day I caught him. Anyway, the girl that he was messing with was butt-ugly. I mean, the girl looked like a man in the face. She did'nt really have that much of a body. Just plain ghetto. I thought to myself: "What the hell?" . I would imagine that if he would cheat on me, it would be with a girl that would look better than me, but to my suprise, she wasn't. I am friends with my ex's sister, so you know we talk. The girl was "pot pee" , did'nt have her own crib, car or money. At first, I was hurt, but now everytime I think about it, I laugh: "Damn homey, you left me for that?" But seriously, why is it that a man would look over a decent girl for some lil nasty skank?

Alright, so I'm a trumpet player with about 30 other guys and only one or two seem to acknowledge the fact that I'm a girl. Cases-in-point:
I've been told that I'm 'not like, a real 'girl', more like a guy with girl hardware.'
I have a guy friend who thinks I can beat him up.
I've been asked: "Dude, why dont you change with the rest of the trumpets?"
I wore a pink shirt to practice one day and was told: 'woah, man, i feel like i should call you a girly name or something. whats with the pink, man?'
I can't tell you how many times I've gotten punched in the arm as a 'hello' gesture.
I don't know if I should take it as a compliment that they see me as 'a guy' or not! haha.

Anyone have any insight?
