What does butt-a-face have on me?

I want an honest answer. I was in a relationship with my ex-boyfriend and we broke up because he cheated on me. I always knew he was cheating on me, but I could never prove it, so I sufferred in silence. but one fatehful day I caught him. Anyway, the girl that he was messing with was butt-ugly. I mean, the girl looked like a man in the face. She did'nt really have that much of a body. Just plain ghetto. I thought to myself: "What the hell?" . I would imagine that if he would cheat on me, it would be with a girl that would look better than me, but to my suprise, she wasn't. I am friends with my ex's sister, so you know we talk. The girl was "pot pee" , did'nt have her own crib, car or money. At first, I was hurt, but now everytime I think about it, I laugh: "Damn homey, you left me for that?" But seriously, why is it that a man would look over a decent girl for some lil nasty skank?

Im sorry that you had to experience a messed up relationship. First , you should not compare yourself to another woman. Sound like your more woman than the one he cheated on you with. It could just been about sex and nothing more with your ex and "butt-a-face" .Sometime women and men dont know when they have a good thing until its gone . Hopefully next relationship you wont be with someone who you "know" is cheating on you .

You ex's cheating on you with this skank does not mean that anything about her was better than you. Obviously you were just too good for him and he was definitely not good enough for you. Like a lot of men I think he was looking at quantity rather than quality (the number of girls he's with rather than the quality of the girl/relationship). **I hope when you caught him cheating you got yourself checked for STDs cause you never know what else he could have been up to. Maybe she has a personality. When someone cheats on you there probably is a reason for it. Yes, willingness to engage in intimate activities is definately a possibility. You may not want it as often as he does but for men it is an actual need. To ignore that is to say you honestly don't care about his feelings or needs while at the same time expecting him to care about yours. You seem pretty selfish and self-centered. Try thinking of someone other than yourself for once and you might be able to keep a boyfriend for longer than a week.

some times it's not about the looks so much, but about the personality, maybe she has a nice personality, and he likes those qualities. to you this girl looks like a man but she probably fulfillsls his desires in bed, even some of the most beautiful women are left by their men for someone your quote "butt ugly, but everyone has their own interpretation of what is, and whats not attractive, you did not fulfil his desires so he moved on to someone who would, seems like you should just get over it, your comments about this girl are very harsh maybe thats the quality he did not like in you....get over it and move on.

Maybe you couldn't satisfy him in the ways he wanted not only sexually but mentally, Even thought they might be butt ugly they still have a heart and sometimes that is enough. So remember there is more to life than just looks.

That happened to me in high school. He didn't cheat on me, but we went to different high schools and we didn't see each other everyday and we were trouble makers so one of us was always grounded. He broke up with me, citing the reason that we never got to see each other anymore and that sucked, but he promised he would still take me to my junior prom. I'd even said I'd find another date but he insisted that he had promised to take me and he would still take me. We kept in touch over the phone but as it got closer to my junior prom, he stopped returning my calls. Finally, he sheepishly tells me (after I got the tickets) that he's not taking me. I was upset but later that weekend, I was out with my girlfriends on the beach. We ran right into him and a mutual friend of ours...and my ex was with this fat, pale ugly girl he knew from his school. I was devastated because I'm thin & pretty and smart as all hell and here was this hideous trog of a girl he was getting it on with. I still have no idea why he chose her over me, but years later, I got a good laugh when a friend of mine who had known this girl said she's got like 3 kids, she's even fatter and she's divorced. I learned that this guy wasn't worth the effort and that there were plenty of guys out there who would treat me with respect and admire me for both my inner and outer beauty. Trust me...you'll find this funny years down the road.

I agree...most guys can't help but think w/their units and will do anything that spreads, don't have to be cute, it's a bonus - but if he's cheating on you anyways, get over him, obviously he's dumber than a box of rocks if she's that ugly..find one that's not a dummy, you'll be happy you got rid of him...

Power and control. By you he may have not been the big man because you know your worth. When he is with her he may have felt more like a man because of his better lifestyle than hers or the lust that is in every fling. You can be hot, but she may give him the attention that he needs.

The answer is simple. It was like a game to cheat, it was fun, exciting and she was willing.
Most likely, she did things to him or with him sexually that you didn't or wouldnt do.that kept him interested. Dont take that in a bad way, I'm not being mean.
