my mother in law gave her daugther up for adoption over 30 years ago when life was hard and she could not afford to look after her. But she has never forgiven herself for doing it and she has never given up hope of trying to find her. She has been emotionally and mentally affected over the last 30 odd years over this. She has got drunk, cried herself to sleep at nights and she just wants to put some sort of 'closure' to this painful chapter of her life and to meet the daughter she unwillingly gave up all those years ago. She apparently heard from someone that since it was her who gave the baby up in the first place, she does not have any rights to look for her. If her daughter decided that she wanted to be reunited with her mother, then only she has the right to look for her mother. How true is this and how can I go about helping her fulfil her life-long dream? Please help me!

If you didn't would you like to have waited. Or do you believe that waiting to have sex until married is not important?

Ok, I guess actually I'm looking for your opinion.......My marriage recently ended, and I'm not looking for another relationship...not yet anyways. But, I'm a 35 y/o woman who enjoys an active sex life. I'm not into one night stands.....so, I've found a guy that is attractive, good in bed and our friendship is based on fullfilling each others sexual needs.....NSA. I find that skipping the drama of the relationship has given us the freedom to do/ask for things we may not have from a "partner". I'm having a great time.....but, wonder if the next man I'm involved with judge me for this.....would you?

There's this girl on line who seems to like me but she is a complete knowitall, thinks she's a goddess, is some sort of pagan and worst of all, likes George Bush...I probably should have known better about a Gemini, cause they are like that...but should I continue e-mailing her or run for the hills?

Ok I am dating this white guy (first time dating outside of my race)and we have been on a few dates. But everytime he goes to kiss me on the lips I try to but I always make up an excuse or just kiss his cheek. I mean their lips are just so small and I'm scared to actually put my lips on him. I know I'm attracted to him, cause he is fine for a white guy but I just cant do it. Do you think it's a Phobia? Help.

We have been married 6 yrs. In the beginning he bought extravagant gifts and all the affection in the world was showered on me, now we sleep in seperate rooms, never kiss passionately, never say i love you, To make a long story short there is no intamacy in the marriage. I love him and want our marriage to work but i am starving for affection. In his defense he does work 2 jobs to support me and our daughter. Our anniversary just passed and when I brought it up to him he told me that I just don't get it he doesn't see the big deal. Then he had an attitude with me the whole day. I am confused, I feel as if he is not happy in the marriage, yet he says that he is. I have talked to him over and over about how distant we are from one another and it seems to go in one ear and out the other. hhheelllp

My husband has a drinking problem. He is a binge drinker and feels that because he is not up at 6am with the shakes that he does not have a problem. He recently had an injury caused during a night out drinking and he still wants to drink! (he just had major surgery because of this injury) We have a young son and I do NOT want him picking up on any of this and I know he will. (I grew up around addicts) I have asked him to get help and he feels he can do it on his own. I have even went as far as telling him that I would quit with him if that would make it easier. I am doing everything I can imagine to be as supportive as possible and it is getting me nowhere. I am pissed and don't know what else to do. I HATE ultimatums, but have told him that I will leave and take our son in order to prevent further harm to myself or my son. He is not physical or anything, but a belligerent as*hole, and who should have to put up with that? Any suggestions as to what to do next? I really need some help..

Look, I know you cannot reason with a four year old, I've tried and I cant find any way to explain it to where she will understand... She thinks that she can do whatever she wants and she doesnt care if I yell, ground, or spank her. I feel like Im living with a teen already. She isnt violent she doesnt hit but you can tell her 5 times not to do something in an hour and she deliberatley does it. Ive tried everything I can, including reasoning with her, and explaining to her why she has to follow the rules but I cant find the words to talk to her to where she will understand... She says Im mean to her and the only thing I can say is Im not mean to you, your being mean by not following the rules. Im at my wits end with her. I am always consistent with the punishment but shes so hard headed that shes consistant with behaving badly. Sometimes I feel like shes doing this to spite me. How do I handle my four year old who thinks shes fourteen what else can I try for punishment and how do I get

As a woman I put effort into my appearance when I meet someone new. I usually end up meeting some guy dressed in cargo shorts or blue jeans and tennis shoes. Just because or meeting is casual I don't think a guy should show up like he is just running errands and stopped to meet me. You wouldnt' go to a job interview dressed in shorts even if it was something casual like mcdonalds . Why do guys just show up in sloppy jeans and tshirts? I know I know, everyone will say it doesn' t matter what they are wearing but come on , first impressions are important. If someone showed up for an interview dressed sloppily, they probably wouldn't get the job even if they were a great worker. FIrst impressions do matter.

I was 17 when I met my first girlfriend whose 15. I have been with her for nearly a year now and we are extremely in love. To me I truly beleive I have found my wife to be, however my father keeps on telling me that guys must experience many relationships in life before ever going into marriage, but why? why cant a guy find his true love with his first girlfriend? To me right now if I somehow breakup with my girlfriend now its possibly gonna be most devastating thing I'll have to experience, and people say that you can learn to love again with another person, to me thats totally impossible, I do not think I can love another person again, I already love my gf in a way few can comprehend. Would I be considered very naive? I personally dont think so.
