I was 17 when I met my first girlfriend whose 15. I have been with her for nearly a year now and we are extremely in love. To me I truly beleive I have found my wife to be, however my father keeps on telling me that guys must experience many relationships in life before ever going into marriage, but why? why cant a guy find his true love with his first girlfriend? To me right now if I somehow breakup with my girlfriend now its possibly gonna be most devastating thing I'll have to experience, and people say that you can learn to love again with another person, to me thats totally impossible, I do not think I can love another person again, I already love my gf in a way few can comprehend. Would I be considered very naive? I personally dont think so.

the 1st time is the best. you'll never forget it. your dad sounds like a proud man and that is not always good. love is love. just don't compromise yourselves. you still are young and there are many obstacles in life that will change you make and break you. 5 years from now you are not going to be the same.

It's possible---but then again, everyone thinks they will be with their first love forever (or why else would they be together?), yet most people are not.
